    If it’s in ratchet shift mode will I be able to move the shifter all the way to park without it actually shifting.. not sure if that makes sense. But mines stuck in drive. I can move shifter from drive to neutral to reverse and park and it’s stays in drive. I had to shut it off in drive and just put blocks on the tires so it doesn’t roll

    I am currently reviving the same amp. When attempting to remove the volume knob, the shaft came off with it. Found that one of the previous owners had glued the knob to the shaft. I found that the shaft had a keyed end inside the pot and just re-inserted it back into it and it works fine. Though I has ruined it at first but fortunately it all worked out.

    By any chance do you have a tutorial of how to pull apart the power seat tracks to be able to restore them?

    • @thomaslong6416
      @thomaslong6416 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That would have been a good video but mine were very well preserved, but I have restored seat tracks in the past to a Trans Am I did not pull them apart I simply soaked them in evapo-rust until the rust was gone, they came out perfect and brand new then I put some grease in the bearings, just put the seat back together they still work perfect. In fact I just got a 1964 buick wildcat rat rod I will do a video of it's seats in the not to distant future...thoms

    This video was a life saver for me. Started work on my truck a couple years ago but had to stop due to having 8 strokes. I have now resumed work on the engine but couldn't remember exactly how things go back together especially on the lower intake. This video sure did ease my headache because I can't remember a LOT of stuff now. Couldn't find diagrams or anything that showed me what I needed to know....this video did that. THANK YOU SO MUCH...I've been pulling my old gray hair out over this. Your engine looks great by the way. I am now a new subscriber. Sometimes it's great to have someone just show you the basics and point out the little things.

    Like Charles Hunger says, thanks for the demo! I already knew in theory how to operate Kilduff lightning rod shifter (3 stick manual drag race shifting for 4-speed automatic transmission), but now I know how it's mechanically done. I guess that they have spent lots of time to get so simple design. :-)
