Thats why series are best of 7. Yeah, not gonna lie Bob played poorly game 4. And had a few ones he shouldnt have let in for game 5 and 6. But also the Oilers found the counter to the panther's aggression, and the panthers were slow to recover from that. This lead to a lot of really good scoring chances that even the best goalies would have trouble with. The oilers losing the cup shows how much having a good goalie matters. While the Oilers in most eyes had the better offensive talent, and even their depth scorers stepped up in games 5 and 6, the ultimate deciding factor was the goaltending IMO.
