Oh, and I am a cat lover too! I have had as many as 4 kitties living at my house. Sadly, they have all passed over the rainbow bridge. I don’t have any now as I travel quite a bit and do not think it is fair to leave a pet home alone or board one. My daughter lives in Seattle, I am in Arkansas so I do visit her from time to time. Someday I want to add a cat or two to my household as I miss having them! Take care! 😫

Hi Wendy! Love your LGB journals! I have followed your directions to deconstruct the books and add the spines with fabric covers to preserve the gold strips. I have completed six LGB Christmas journals - five to give as gifts and one to keep for myself. I love your content; your instructions are very clear. Keep up the great work!😊

Your book is exactly how I would do mine! I'm more of a "scrap-booker" too, so adding the memories and pictures tells the story! LOVE how you did the "flip-outs! If you would mind, plz tell me if you "edit" your video on your phone or your computer? also what edit program do you use? I want to share my LGB "scrapbook" on my channel, but need to learn editing. Smart idea! Only thing I probably would have done differently is to embrace the extra page and glued another piece of the same coloured card stock onto your tabs. But regardless, smart resolution ❤️

I think you are brave for soldiering on. My recommendation is to get an embossing ink pad. I don’t mean a distress one, but rather a Versafine or Staz On. You will get a much better impression than when you use the Distress embossing dauber. I would watch some TH-cam videos on heat embossing so you can get a result you can confident in. I know I’m being a heretic suggesting you buy something that not Timmy’s 😂 I’ve been scrapbooking for 20 years and I ‘ve still learnt loads from watching your videos . ❤❤❤

Enjoyed your video. I really liked your use of paper strips covering fabric edges.

I gave another magnet suggestion for your collection. I bought an extendable magnetic pick up tool. Once a die fell into my garbage can and I just used the pick up tool to retrieve it from the garbage can that was filled with paper scraps. It made this maker very happy!

Note to self: pour out die sets over my 8x10 magnet sheet. 🙂 One of Tim's christmas sets vs my cat made me start laying a large magnet sheet on my desk that has a sheet metal top to keep the dies from becoming cat toys.

I loved this video. I'm so grateful to see another way to trim down the pages. This definitely gives the stitches something to cling to as well. I had not realised that some of the pages have perforations so I will look out for this now. Thank you so much 🌷

I’ve made several LGB journals but have never bound them this way. I’ve always wrapped fabric around the outside covering up the edging. I do like this method and will give it a try. Tfs Also, I enjoyed your humorous beginning and ending. Hood luck on your channel. ❤

You can use your heat gun ( or blow dryer)and warm up the spine,it will release the golden spine,once it's removed then separate your signatures from your front and back covers
