After continued follow up calls to Jeffery and Corporate Hyundai, I finally received the following response on February 28th, 2024: "Thank you for contacting Hyundai Motor America (“HMA”) Regional Consumer Affairs regarding warranty coverage for your Elantra 2014; We appreciate the opportunity to hear from our customers but regret the circumstances that prompted your contact. You have indicated you would like repairs to be covered under the vehicle’s limited warranty. To investigate your claim, we have reviewed the vehicle’s history, and diagnostics. Based on that evaluation, we do not believe that the Windshield and AC system failed because of a defect in materials or workmanship. Specifically, the dealership confirmed that issue cannot be duplicated. If you have additional information of which you believe HMA should be aware, please advise, and we will evaluate as appropriate. National Consumer Affairs Hyundai Motor America"

Update: On the second repair trip, Coggins Hyundai Deland replaced a computer module (91951-3X140 BOX ASSY - ENG MODULE SYSTEM with the following note on the invoice stating "94574 ac 4.00 check out found faulty eng. PCB block replace block and repair wiring." after over a week having the vehicle in the shop. ~1 month after the second "repair", the same issue happened after leaving a store. I have video of the issue, as does my wife when it happened to her in the following days. The car is now at Coggins Hyundai Deland for a 3rd "repair" trip. Coggins' techs service department is on day 4 and still scratching their heads. I contacted Hyundai corporate and now have a case open to non-functioning wipers being a safety hazard. I'll provide an update once the corporate Hyundai case manager contacts me and the 3rd repair is completed. Please Note: Coggins Deland Hyundai's customer service has been awesome. I have Jim as my service advisor and couldn't be happier with how he and Coggins have handled this situation. As for the future of this car and whether I'll ever purchase another Hyundai, that remains to be seen.
