oh i love that book
@Veve1Official it's great. Have you read the sequels?
@ yes i love them
Great entertainment ❤
I had an excellent time, I'm glad it shows through. If you fancied it where would you cruise to?
Great vlog , MSC beautiful ships but not for me unfortunately due to chaos I really love the ships but they are over packed ❤
@@carmelshepherd6739 thank you very much. I was fortunate to be able to go during school time and in an off peak time so although I was told the ship was full, it never really felt that way. Perhaps there is a better time to go for you too?
Great videos from the Virtuosa, very informative and professional 😊❤
@@jodi_cross thank you, that's very kind of you 🥰
I like the thought of sitting at the rear of the ship veranda eating dinner. Sounds bliss
Yes it was. I imagine it would be busier in hotter weather but I was able to sit out there every meal if I wanted to.
How did you find out about the solo cruise pub meetup?
MSC had a daily plan via the MSC and Me app which only works when you are on board. It had a daily schedule and it was advertised on there.
My friends left Southampton yesterday on their way to Germany, Holland, Belgium and France then back home. I am so looking forward to my first cruise thanks to your videos (and some others which are not so good). Thanks again.
I love cruising and I am looking forward to doing it again some day. If there's anything you'd like to know then please ask and I'd be happy to help out if I can!
Wow, what a view of the sea
We were very lucky with the weather. It is gorgous when it is like that
Another great video. Thanks.
You're welcome ☺️
Wonderful insight into the world of cruising. Thank you.
I'm very glad it was helpful to you!
2:33 avoid all those shops. Find established houses instead : Neuhaus, Leonidas, Godiva.
@@flitsertheo thanks very much for the tip 👍
I owe you an apaology
May I ask what for?
@@JustPickOneUKI solo cruised on this cruise, too. I was on 251. Based on previous experiences on Virtuosa, I didn't go to the main dinner a single time! It's either an apology or a congratulation on escaping my company 🎉
@burrell222 Oh I see ☺️ I did pretty much keep to myself this time out. I liked all the food I had especially when you consider the price I paid.
I went on a 4 day cruise, never went to the main dining room either.
@leetonge5171 fair enough. That is one of the great things about cruising, there are lots of options to choose from.
Where is your favourite National Trust property? Let me know and I'll add it to my list of ones to visit!
As a trampolinist this is very accurate information 😂😂
It was amazing to watch!
A perfect vanilla ice cream
Oh yes!
Mmmmm chocolate and toffee sauce
Lovely choice!
What's your favourite Belgian Waffle topping? I had cream and chocolate sauce on mine in Bruges but what's your favourite?
The traditional Belgian topping : nothing on Liège waffles and white sugar powder on Brussels waffles.
Fantastic video, very interesting 😊
Thank you very much ❤️
Fab preview! Did you enjoy it?
@@jodi_cross Yes I did thank you. It was strange doing all of it alone but I did really enjoy myself. How about your family?
@@JustPickOneUK your very brave, I don't think I could do it, glad you had a great time. We really enjoyed it most probably a different experience to yours though, we didn't make it to any of the parties this time we were to tired to stay up 😅
@@jodi_cross I only went to the white party in the end. I was tired from so much walking during the day 😴
😊 see you there with my wife.
@@ferdmartin see you there
This is a lovely video. Thanks for sharing
@@markoliver4208 you are very welcome. If you want to see more videos of Bournemouth and surrounding areas, just let me know and I will do my best
Which doctor is your favorite?
@@into-darkness5560 that's a great question and a difficult one for any Whovian. My favourite would have to be 11 Matt Smith he was astonishing and having such a young face but old eyes really made him an excellent doctor for me. But an incredibly close second would be David Tennant (10). How about you?
Have you been on a cruise before? Do you have any questions about MSC or the ship Virtuosa? Let me know below!
I like the peakaboo colour idea
Thank you. It's a bit different but not too daring which I like.
What do you think of the pocket 3?
I like it a lot. I love that it is very simple to use from first use and customisable once you do get used to it. I'm thinking of doing a review video of it if that's something that would be of interest?
Ohhh, I love lego!
It is awesome! Everything is awesome!
I read when Ai need to unwind. So when you find yourself in a high stress situation (where appropriate, don't pull out a book when in a meeting with your manager) books are a great mental palette cleanser. I also read before bed or am in transit (when not the one driving.) Also Audiobooks ARE books so if listening to the story while you do chores or things you find tedious letting your body go into auto mode and listening is a excellent option. Don't berate yourself for bot reading enough, read when you feel like it, eventually a book will grab your attention and refuse to let go. That's when you've found your genre and you won't have to schedule times to push yourself into reading. I've always been an avid reader, I enjoy the escapism. My dad was the opposite. Bad experiences with learning as a kid made it hard for him to enjoy it. A couple years ago he decided he needed a better bedtime routine for his sleep pattern so he started reading a few pages a night. I remember when he finished his first novel and was so proud and excited of himself (I was just as proud of him) that was a couple years ago. Then he found genres that grab him. Now he reads when he has downtime or needs to rest, often before bed as well. He very proudly announced to me the other day that he had officially read over 300 books on kindle unlimited. This man would not read instructions for most of my life and now finishes novels in a day or 2. My point is, reading more is a good goal but don't make it a chore, when you find your authors you will find the time. Welcome to the bookclub, go gently and be kind to yourself as you find your pace ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing that with me. I am proud of your Dad too! Way to go! I will accept my membership into Book Club happily an be kind. I am enjoying the book and I am sure I will do a book review when I am done x
I listen to audiobooks & podcasts during the day as I’m doing things or driving and at night I set a timer and read before bed so my subconscious can work on that info instead of whatever trivial things happened in the day
I like a good audiobook as well when I'm doing jobs. But I'm finding going to bed with a book is more relaxing for that time of day
I also read before bed; it’s the best - it gets me tired and is better for my eyes & gets me better sleep
I noticed an improvement for my eyes after I had been editing and staring at a screen for a couple of hours. It must be the different eye movements which help.
Audiobooks! You CAN read and do other things at the same time!
I do love to do this! But setting time aside to physically read a book gives a different experience and one that I want to try and do more of.
Audible! Listen like it's music, I've listened for 8months 20days and 13hours since August 2020! It's helpful for getting a better impression of the characters too. I was a huge reader but struggle with vision so switched up and now I can't imagine going back and I don't have to keep buying storage solutions for endless books. Good luck 😊
Thank you. I do love audio as I can get other things done while I listen. I have listened to the entire Harry Potter series as audio books and love listening to radio dramas as they are like watching a play. Sitting down with a book has always been a challenge because my mind tends to drift onto another thing mid paragraph.
@@JustPickOneUK I get that too! I love having a good book on while I'm relaxing or crafting. I have a huge collection of books but have more in my library on audible. I love books and my passion has passed to my daughter too but we always did stories at bedtime and she was reading just before she was 3, she's 14 now and has so many books and a huge list of to be read books, she was the first kid to buy the books for her gsce and spent the weekend sniffing the new book smell off them, she was so happy! She's like me and will read anytime of the day.
New book smell is a very wonderful one. We have read to our son every night since birth and he loves books too. A bit younger than yours but it really is lovely to see him enjoying books and giggling away to himself over something that I haven't got a clue what it was. I hope she keeps her passion for books as it is worthwhile.
Before bed is good. I also love audiobooks, I listen to the while crafting, driving, cleaning, sorting out admin stuff on the pc. The library has a great app called borrow box which has a tonne of audiobooks you can listen to
Yeah I do listen to them to get to sleep and when I am doing chores. BBC Sounds is great for Radio Plays as well. But I wanted to try and actually sit with a book and see how I get on. Actually spend time with a book, rather than let it be my background noise.
9 pm is the perfect time.
That's what I thought. Time for my TV favourites to be watched, then some book time before bed.
This is a great video. It is fantastic to see the whole site.
Thank you. It is a lovely site and the weather was gorgeous which made the walk around even more worthwhile.
Pick a cover that interests you. Sometimes judging a book by it's cover works! Also ask friends and family to lend you a fave
@@jormunganfan Ooh how rebellious of you. I'll give it a try
Ooh, may I recommend The Red Tent by Anita Diamant. I think it is a beautiful story. Also, The Midnight Library by Matt Haig is an absolutely wonderful read!
Thank you for the recommendations!
Beautiful
Thank you. It is a lovely location
@JustPickOneUK I used to work in the new forest in a stables when I was 15 not been for years
Great video 🐾missing the New Forest🐾 really enjoyed 👍
@@CaravanCavapooEscapes Thanks. I love going there and happy it is so close.
My best suggestion is to think of the type of stories you enjoy in other mediums, movies, tv shows, video games, etc. Google that genre and "fast paced". Fast paced books tend to get into the action faster and thus take less time and effort to get to the engaging parts. As an adult, I wouldn't recommend below middle grade books as the story isn't as engaging, at least for me. But really, pick a reading level you feel comfortable with.
Thank you. Getting into reading is a challenge for me. But I am determined to do more of it so that is good advice.
Imagine the bookshop is netflix, try a few things that sound interesting and eventually youll find an author you love and their books that you cant put down. For me it was Sir Terry Pratchett 😊
Great suggestion. Court room drama and crime fiction have appealed in the past so I think I'll start there and see where I go.
find a book whose topic appeals to you, there's no wrong way to start or any right way to start, enjoyment is the aim of reading. I love a good book, I hope you manage to find the same.
Thank you for your message. That's what I am thinking. It is hard to narrow down but I do like crime drama and court room type of things as TV and audio books so perhaps that's a good place to start.
Well done ✅
Thank you. On to the next cupoard!
Great video. I bought a cflity tent on the strength of your video. The one I found was a 2 to 3 person tent. It has an awning and vestibule. I love it. My son also bought one. I have posted a video on TH-cam if you search my name you will see the tent I bought.
That great! I love mine and use it regularly. Happy Camping!
Great little video. I think it's a good thing to do reviews about camp sites. This could be your forte, lol. Come up north and do some campsite reviews. 👍
I'd love to! Any suggestions on great places to visit?
@JustPickOneUK me and my son have only tried a couple. There's nothing to shout about if I'm honest. One is fabulous but not allowed a fire pit, so it's not that good as the midges are relentless.
@johnkucak same as Loch Lomond then. Was there earlier in the month. They seem to eat insect repellent for breakfast up there 😄
Nice video! I’ve gotten into camping myself this summer and have been going to the New Forest campsites by train - you inspired me to try Holmsley next weekend. I love to find those little hidden spots although usually don’t manage it as I can’t get there till past 7 pm on a Friday night and they are usually taken 😅
Thank you. Been to Holmsley twice now and would happily go back any time. Enjoy!
We loved this video, watched till the end and have subscribed 🐾we also make content on the New Forest🐾such a special place🐾 Happy Travels.
@@CaravanCavapooEscapes Thank you very much! Happy travels to you also. Keep an eye out for more as I'm off to Wales, the Lake District and Scotland next.
@@JustPickOneUK yeah cool we ourselves off to Scotland this weekend 🐾 We look forward to your upcoming videos🐾keep up the hard work and enjoy👍
Just a bit damp 😂😂
Yeah just a bit. We've been very lucky with the weather up to now so we can't grumble.
Always rains when you go camping.
It seems to. Although on this trip we have had some gorgeous weather so can't really complain
When the weather's good Loch Lomond is the best .
It is beautiful here. Except now we have torrential rain, but that has the silver lining of keeping the mozzies away!
Great video. Fabulous tent. I was looking at the Cflity tent. I looked for one. It's a little different to yours it suits me fine. So I bought one after watching your review. I have posted a walk around video as there is no video. Love your videos. Keep em coming 👍👍
Thank you very much! This makes me very happy that these videos have helped. I do love my little pop up as it is so simple. More videos coming I promise 👍
Fair play to you. New forest is amazing and even though I live near by, I've still got to see it all and I've found new places to go from watching this. Enjoy and thanks for sharing this. Happy camping ❤
Thank you very much. I am local too and loving exploring it more. I am hoping to spread my wings further in the coming weeks. Watch this space for more.
