In high school we sang a different arrangement of this at a classmate's funeral. Very fitting, and it let those of us who sang feel as if we were in a small way part of a respectful send-off.
I have the honor of hearing this wonderful group of people sing several times and being in choirs directed by 2 members of this group. As good as these recordings are, there is nothing like hearing them live!! In addition to them being talented musicians, driven and passionate about this art, they are wonderful people!! Follow them and try to see them live. it is a truly moving experience!

Nice, but a little too fast for me!
Beautiful! I like how intimate it is compared to versions with complete big choirs. The soprano sounds a little too overwhelming for my taste at times; two basses wouldn't be a bad idea. But I guess i'm just missing the thickness the composition has. Nontheless, great, great performance!
