yes! I like that I can carry a lot in it and then also downsize and make it drapier- the small i may end up selling but to me it feels more limiting even when i downsize what i carry - which isnt all that much to begin with!

@CarolenGrayToday makes sense to me. I'm sold on the large.

@@WahkeenaSitka I was SO nervous ordering the large during the sale having NEVER seen either in person. (that one JUST got a shipping label!!!) but then one popped up in super fans deal or no deal and I was able to grab it and try it and its LOVEEEE!!!! 😍😍😍

wow! a whole year!!! WAY TO GO!!! That is NOT easy to do however, I have learned, like you said, when you focus on gratitude of what you already have it really eases the wants. I am not buying any more bags this year and once I hit that two month mark Im hoping to just continue that week by week, month by month! Its good to have a boundary around buying a bag/bags and having to really think about if its something you REALLY want/something you want right now! Have you decided what bag youll get? ooooh YES! medium hartley is a FANTASTIC choice!!! I am getting my tumbled black one back form relining and strap change this week - wednesday it says! and laurel dasso made me one in a brown leather that is ALSO coming this week (ordered back in august!) so im excited to have mine back with me!

HI! I dont think ive actually owned any honed leathers! But i have learned that I prefer cowhide leathers and that IS a cowhide so im sure i would like it! Mont Blancs and distressed leathers are my absolute FAVORITE! I have some things figured out but then all of a sudden something new triggers it- I am trying to not buy any more bags this year AND Im still working through selling littles and bags - so putting a freeze on BUYING should help squelch this, right? 🙂 Im hopeful - practicing will power is NOT for the faint of heart

it actually IS exhausting making these decisions and another reason why I would like to have less stuff - I don't want my mental capacity going towards bags anymore. It's fun and just a hobby of sorts . But it became more of an obsession for me and I don't like that! So what I do when I get to the point you're at is I will narrow down to what I like the most out of the (1904's) and then I will list up the others. Then after so long if I still haven't used the one or two I've kept I continue to narrow down one by one. See how I feel after I let each one go. Usually once Ive made up my mind to let it go mentally I am happy to release it physically. I have YET to regret any sale BUT in case you are worried about that - reminding myself I can rebuy again in the future is something that has helped me release any 'anxiety' I have about potentially regretting the sale or missing the bag itself. Also on BST you can always ask the person you sell to to let you know if they decide to sell in the future AKA buyback dibs ;-) Go slow and take your time. 💜💜

YES! buying with intention is probably the main thing that is helping/going to continue helping me! I have done MUCH better on amazon these days and im utilizing exactly what you are talking about! I keep a running list of things "I want" andI wait! Most of the time by the end of the month when i go back and look at the list i forgot about the things on it or i no longer am drawn to it!

yes! So i downsized to 4 plates and bowls a few years ago and have not needed more than that! Its less to keep up with and less to clutter my space! I try to use our microwave as little as possible for sure. we didn't have a dishwasher the last two years and do now but i fill it up every couple of days and run it depending how often/much i've cooked etc. Its a nice convenience to have again but not necessity!

I found that report too! There’s another one the same brand has that they market as lead free I believe (so odd just make it ALL lead free!) amzn.to/3NQcdWh But I’ll need to look in to it more!

i definitely am taking a break from purses as I have so many IP with Laurel Dasso and Rough & Tumble I just need to be patient to get those in and then use what I have and LOVE them - and if not love SELL! Thats smart to keep some plastic containers for sending food home with others! that way if you dont see it again no worries!!

its my laurel dasso open pocket crossbody sling!! very similar to Rough & Tumble's but the strap is thicker. I havent done a video yet on it bc i sold my other Rough & Tumble xbody sling while downsizing- but I will eventually! :-) Its very comfortable to wear and holds a ton without being HUGE or too heavy! of course that also depends on which leather it is for the weight She does BEAUTIFUL handmade work and can replicate any style of bag you like! it definitely can be addictive. The dopamine hit. THATS whats addictive! Its NUTS! and that's a great thing to remind ourselves of. Just bc something is eye catching it doesn't mean we need to own it. We can learn to appreciate somethings beauty without having to own everything. I remember you selling and rebuying the DGM lotus! Its such a good reminder for when people are letting (most) things go that if you let it go, and decide you miss it you can REBUY it! Canvas bags also haven't worked for me. The only canvas bag I have now is the Large Farmers market tote. So that's one I rebought after selling. But to be fair I gave the small FMT a chance and sold the large without giving it a go! LOL and I got whiskey canvas pockets instead of black pockets which helps hide lint that may rub off on it as well! I may be putting videos out less frequently for a while but you know where to find me anyway! 🙂

basque black is probably one of my top 3 fave black leathers they have and what a GREAT deal on that traveler! Such a cute bag! The stitching is coming out? yes! I think a lot of us do fall down these rabbit holes (if one is great then 15 must be even better! haha!) I have ads turned off for during my videos now - they may play before and after and thats it. Another reason I dont make much on my YT channel. I dont want things pushed out and advertised to people that maybe I dont even agree with or like + yes this election is exhausting again. I know who im voting for so I just scroll past these or turn off the sound. I am probably going to be backing off of youtube as it perpetuates the cycle of my buying/wanting to buy but Ill pop in here and there. The funny thing is my videos are just picking up more views each time so im probably shooting myself in the foot if i wanted to grow the channel but ultimately I dont know if thats what I want. yes this election is yet again, exhausting! Selling bags IS SO SLOW right now. Its so wild. In the BST groups for Rough & Tumble and others things are just sitting - until theres some crazy weird leather and then all of a sudden people are spending 4-500 dollars on it! Its the wild wild est in there! 🤣 Praying your healing is still going smoothly and youre feeling more and more yourself!

I noticed many of your bags had a detachable strap which is also a huge thing for me. I find the bags I like have removable straps.

@@DaysAfterDecluttering yes so im actually about to send off my tumbled black hartley to an after market repair gal who is going to remove the 3 way strap for me and instead make it a detachable adjustable long strap + she is doing a full reline for me! Just waiting for the fabric to get here (monday) and then off it goes!

I think that’s wise. They’re very different bags and yet serve the same function. At this point the Jenny is still new but such an easy carry. I find it to be pretty relaxed feel to it but pretty much only carry it one way- crossbody hence the relaxed feel! 😎 The medium Hartley is a great size not too big and not too small. Carries my daily essentials with plenty of room without being too bulky of a bag. It can be worn crossbody or shoulder carry plus can add the extra short strap to snazz it up a little. I would have to say the medium Hartley! Final answer! 😂

I have been narrowing down my bags again (though it doesn’t look like it) but I also have multiple in the queue which also helped prompt me to move some out! I still have littles for sale too! The Jenny is really great but if we’re speaking in encouragement you don’t NEED it! It’s just another way to carry our stuff lol 😂 But it is a beautiful easy carry and truly made me question and few others I have 🫣

@@CarolenGrayToday I have a tote which is my most carried a one R&T custom VHH which I may sell. It's a small, gorgeous in pine and premium saddle but I never carry it. Fable lined.

the sizing is the hardest part for me! Once I found that this large carried so much (all that i normally carry) and still had room for drape I was sold! I may get a small at some point to have for a very minimal carry bag but truly it carries a lot too! If you have other Rough & Tumble bags compare the sizing of the jennys to them and see how you think youd like that!

I agree! I wouldn't wear it across the chest at all I don't even know if it would stay like that bc of the weight of stuff in it, ya know? Most people I have seen wear it more like a crossbody like I do. The small would be better suited for across the chest wear but still I don't know that it would stay.
