    Against whom is our wrestling? Eph 6. 12 this wrestling encompasses every person. And very soon all persons shall be put under compulsion to bare the mark of Caesar and many will convince themselves it is owed to Caesar to bare it. Little do these comprehend by barring it they surrendered thier freedom trough Christ. Year after year and generation after generation has this conflict raged. It began in heaven and was thrust upon the earth. We read how men in scripture fought against the evil in their day. From Abraham on to David and from David down to the end is this war continuing. It was there when Settlers took from the Native Indigenous Peoples, It was there when when the settlers fought against the English oppsers, it was there when racism justified some men treating others as property and slavery divided a nation. It was there when fascism justified genocide and it has continued down to our day when ever governments demand far beyond what ever belonged to Caesar and even now this very day it is being fought in places like Ukrain by many brave men and many you will find are men having strong faith in God whose hopes are in the end of all tyranny in the Kingdom of God. And in every situation there were those who accused these brave men of self serving intrests for Standing or defending their Rights and Freedoms because even when they choose not to live by the Sword these still die by it all the same...

    I think the better question of faith as it pertains to this vaccination is whether we believe that God made our immune system sufficient to build an immunity to this virus on its own, or we believe that a man made Vaccination which genetic impact is completely unknown its future effects will be. I cant speak for anyone else but I will keep my faith in God while every man proves to be a liar. As it is written fear not the killing of body but rather fear Him who after the death of the body has authority to cast into Gehena...

    • @SilverLakeCommunityChurch
      @SilverLakeCommunityChurch 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the thoughtful comment, Archangel. I hear your concerns about the vaccine, and they are the same shared by many. I saw that you mentioned the vaccine's "genetic impact." This is an important hesitation many people have, which I myself didn't fully understand. The question is whether this vaccine can have an impact on our genes, that is, whether the vaccine does or has the potential to change our DNA in anyway. I didn't know the answer myself, so I went and looked it up. The answer is a resounding NO, the mRNA technology of this vaccine could never have a "genetic impact" on those who take it, because it has no access to our genes, the information encoded within our DNA. This is for 2 distinct reasons. 1) mRNA doesn't enter the nucleus of our cells when it does its work. The nucleus as you probably know is where our DNA is stored: the mRNA enters our cells' cytoplasm, where it does its work. 2) Even if the mRNA were to enter our nucleus, it is impossible for it to attach to or in any way alter the DNA found therein. It would be like sprinkling a handful of nuts and bolts on top of the hood of a Corvette and worry it might change it into a Corolla. As far as faith goes, I'm with you 100%. We need to trust that God's sovereignty trumps any human will or endeavors. If God wants something to be done, it will be done. However, I don't think this precludes the idea of human medicine being an agent of God's will in the world. For example, my wife and I both have different medical conditions which would have resulted in our deaths 100 years ago. Medical procedures and medication has demonstrably saved both of our lives. Christians have been leaders in medicine since the 1st century, and I believe God uses human medicine to accomplish God's purposes, much the way God used natural phenomena like storms or floods or fires or pestilence or earthquakes in the Bible to accomplish God's will. Does that mean that human medicine is always right and good? Of course not. Huge mistakes and much evil has been a part of the development of modern medicine, some of which I mention in the sermon. But King David was also an adulterer, Moses was a murderer, Abraham was a coward, and Paul was a total jerk. God can use imperfect people and institutions to accomplish God's perfect will. This all being said, I respect anyone's decision not to get the vaccine. I simply hope that those who don't get it 1) don't get sick and 2) don't pass the virus to someone else. I recently talked to someone who indicated that we shouldn't wear masks or get vaccines or do anything to stand in the way of this virus, because if anyone dies it is God's will. I suppose that is one way of understanding God's will that can be gleaned from Scripture. However, God also made humans to fill the earth and subdue it, and I'm rooting for our medical professionals, many of whom are believers, but all of whom are created in the image of God, to subdue COVID-19, and I see getting the vaccine myself as one way that I participate in that subjugation. I'd love to hear your thoughts! Peace, brother :)

      @@SilverLakeCommunityChurch My Personal interactions with Doctors may bias my views. I do not trust them for many reasons. The Bible established a means of dealing with health or cleanliness issues. For example if a person had leprosy it established a means of dealing with that individual that had it, it did not establish a wide sweeping means of locking down everyone on account of the few. More over the fact that viruses are being Patented by Companies and that their exists a history with using the population for experiments without their knowledge or consent even by this Government. When these companies have huge economic motivations for creating Viruses and Vaccines. When Media is used to spread fear to get people to react in fear and all attempts to expose or disprove their fear based reports are blocked by phoney or subjective "Fact Checkers" used only to silence exposer. When it is systems of Government fails to acknowledge God as having complete Sovereignty and authority in the establishment of Laws or what is Right or Wrong. Just in the same manner with which King Saul also failed to execute the will of God. Inciting disobedience to Gods will because man thinks he knows better than God. God has said I put before you the Blessing or the Malediction and again let him who has ears Listen to what the Spirit says to the Congregations. As society pulls further and further away from its Trust and Faith in God it replaces him with their Rationalizations of so called experts and Scientists. Where were they when He formed all these things. Everyone living exists not in accordance to their own will but they fail to honor Him whose will brought them into exsistance. So they fear a virus more than they fear God they put greater faith in the vaccinations made by men more than they do in Him who made the entire Universe. How foolish we are to fear death. Death can NEVER seperate us from His Love. Let us instead fear Him with reverence and stop being consumed by the fears of the faithless. If a virus shall take this physical exsistance away I shall not fear. Into His hands I am to crush or to heal to do with as He sees fit. I am forever His. There are many things not seen or understood to many. You will know The Truth and He Shall set you Free. The Spirit reveals many things not seen with the eyes or understanding of men. There is knowledge over the things being heard and then their is a knowledge of things one knows from experiencing it, it is this knowledge of The Truth that is truly Knowing...

    Wow! A person doesn't get the full effect on a cell phone. I thought the production, recording and the editing were excellent. It's hard to believe a church could produce a piece of this professional quality. Bravo actors and musicians. Wow! Kyle you were great! It had an avant-garde feel to it which I thought was fabulous. Mariam Carian has a beautiful voice and nice job Eric Ray! I think it should win an award.

    Yo Kyle! Happy Easter to you and your family. Your grandmother sent me this link. Here's a question: How many 98-year olds are emailing links to their grandson's TH-cam videos? Man if I was out there I'd go to your service. Your church seems like a super cool & exciting place. I would expect no less from the guy that brought us Kurdish German Christian Rap. Your Dad and I continue to chase the guitar dream and I've become your grandmother's personal chauffeur, when your Mom & Dad are out of town. I consider it an honor. The righteous dead to aliveness is as stated at 14:35 needs a little adjustment Since those whose physical death has happened are indeed still alive just not from a physical stand point. This is made clear when Jesus said when God said he was the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob he is God not of the dead but of the Living when Moses asked even though they had physically died many years prior. As to the day or the hour NO ONE knows except The Father. However the end times signs are what are called the beginning of pangs of distress, but Scriptures also says see you are not terrified. For as the days of Noah people took no notice until the flood came so also shall the End times be. The key is to put ones focus on Who God is and less on the day or the hour...

    • @SilverLakeCommunityChurch
      @SilverLakeCommunityChurch 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great point, David. Obviously, people who put their faith in God still "die" but then are also alive in another way. I wrestled with how to communicate that quickly with my language, which is how I came up with saying "back to aliveness" instead of back to life
