Reliable and smart no need to spend money on something that will break down
I have a 25 Si in Red and I def turn around to look back at it when walking away. I stare at it from the gym window as I'm working out since the Si looks so good and motivates me. The rims are dope in my opinion. They stand out and are unique to the 25 Si. I'm adding the AWE Touring Exhaust with the black diamond tips this Tuesday to enhance the look and exhaust sound.

Honda in the canyon are ... "sleepers?" Too many people forget FWD are kings when it comes to these tights corners. Throw on some RE71rs and you arent going to gain any distance if the driver has some skill

I used to own a brand new 2024 Honda Civic sport hatchback with the 6 speed manual transmission, same Platinum White Pearl color as your Si. The manual transmissions in the si and the sport are made in India. The transmission in my car shifted very rough to the point that it got worse than a chore to drive, it most likely had defective or low quality synchronizers so I ended up trading it after 9 months. I would have liked to keep my car since it was the last year they offered the K20C2 port injected engine and that engine is bullet proof but sadly Honda's quality control in my case went down the tubes. I am definitely done with new(er) Hondas.
Not including a hand operated parking brake with the 6MT since the previous generation civics is a let down by Honda. Nissan still offers it on their 6 speed manual Canadian Sentra so there are no excuses for Honda not to integrate them in their new manual cars.
But you get brake hold in exchange for this... Never go backwards when stopped going uphill again😊
@@davelospinoso9022 I have a 2024 Versa with a 5 speed manual and it also has a brake hold on inclines with a hand operated parking brake. Same with the 2025 Canadian 6MT Sentra with 4 wheel disc brakes.
I like it but has no torque with that puny 1.5 ltr engine.

I got a 23 sport and i love my car. Its not a si but hey its still a fun car for the back roads and every day driving. Can be tricky in snow. But i have passed multiple awd and 4x4 suvs and trucks going up hill. Overall a 8.5 out of 10. I woud love to get a 10th gen or an 11th gen si one day.

No they did not, the 2025 Si still makes 200 HP which has not changed in almost two decades even though the car keeps getting larger and heavier.
@@abraham3981 it's everything else about the car that's important. From factory it actually makes about 230 crank and with a tube you have easy gains if you want.
@@nbain66 If you look at the previous generations of the Si with the K20 engine you would see that from factory, the L15 turbo engine has weaker internals in comparison. The L15 turbo direct injected engine is also not as reliable in the long term versus an N/A port injected K20. The K20 engine is one of the best 4 cylinder engines ever made but the L15 is just a modernized Honda Fit engine with an added turbo and direct injection. Honda experienced issues in previous generations accords and civics with the direct injected L15 turbo. Head gasket, oil dilution and premature turbo issues. I really doubt a 2025 civic si will be as reliable as an 8th or 9th gen Si.
@abraham3981 it likely won't be, but it appears they were afraid of underselling the Type R by using the 2.0T in the Si and are phasing the K20 out entirely without a hybrid system so that leaves the 1.5T as their only option. Apparently it has been improved in terms of reliability and I know a 2020 SI owner that has a lot of miles and some power mods with no issues, so I have reasonable faith in it given today's regulations and requirements.

how do you compare the handling of the bmw m340 and the bmw 330i. What felt the best in your opinion and how the better of these 2 compare to a civic SI handling-wise
The I definitely felt more sporty and supposedly it had M adaptive performance suspension so it stiffed as you cornered check out my last video of me car shopping
Congrats on the Si welcome to the Honda club. I had a tuned 340i and traded out of it for a FL5 and man the civic is for sure more of a drivers car. Not as fast in a straight line but way more fun to drive. Si was a smart buy. Should hold its value way better than a BMW would of.

@@DeoDeng it depends if you have extra money to get work done on it they are very reliable cars but it is an old German car, this specific car is my brothers and he is Mercedes mechanic himself so he knows how to work on them, I wanted to get a e55 as well but instead I choose a brand new Honda civic si for reliable costs purposes
