Does the audible warning alert on the collar or the phone? I can't hear one on the collar. I do feel the vibration though.

I have loved E collar technologies is because they have it for smaller dogs and yes, I get that. Some of those say that they can be used for small dogs, but my 13 pound toy Aussie some of those are about as big as her neck. That being said, I have used both the micro and the mini and his absolutely love them. I love the fact that they have so many different levels of stimulation so I can dial in for each dog exactly what is right

when I yell ow, it ramps my 4 month old lab up. She doesn't pause and look, like Odin does in this video. She get SUPER excited. Does not work.

Are you saying in the temperament mode that after a dog barks one time there is a delay before there’s another correction ? My dog can do a lot of barking with a delay. I want it to increase stim correction with each bark until it stops .

Does the collar require you to power cycle and pair to your phone every time you take it off the charger? Mine turns the fence off and defaults back to vibration. I’m going to send it back while I still can as it’s still way too big and bulky for my 25lb pit bull puppy.

I have 2 (most likely) purebred labs both from a local county shelter, one was $10 british lab (chip said he was 2 years old and was chipped as a "westminter lab", owners were contacted and never came back for him), he was great with dogs till he had a bad dog park experience so hes sketched out meeting dogs but after introduction plays great, the second one we got for free (same shelter), american lab with broken ribs from being kicked and emaciated, not a mean bone in her body and just wants to cuddle with everyone with no fear of people or dogs, instinctually knows how to fetch and is about a year old. Open admission shelters are overwhelmed with dogs right now. For both I did an adoption survey the day before and took them home the next day. Open admission shelters are usually kill shelters but the one I went to only euthanizes "unadoptable" dogs (most likely due to aggression). If you keep up to date on county shelters, do your research and take your time finding the right fit theres some great options.

Tip number one- stop calling them a shock collar. It’s creates a negative perception with the uninformed. Call them e - sim or stim collars. I know it sounds petty but using words that we associate with pain or violence are just sending the wrong message. Some states are trying to ban the sales and use, like NY. It’s ridiculous!! It’s a great tool when used responsibly.

I love this video because it's not perfect. You see so many trainers and you got to wonder how many times the dog has gone through the training. I'm learning a lot about dogs after the fact, so I've got my work cut out for me with my adult dogs. It's good to see a traner that sets up proper expectations with a dog who doesn't have it all down.

1. I agree they are very expensive…..to be honest I think it’s cause they are sooooo cute! 2. Grooming is expensive but I take my Maltipoo once a month it’s 56 bucks 3. Barking hasn’t really been a problem 4. Anxiety it’s a 50/50 5. Potty Training was actually perfected at 8 months, not sure how long it usually takes?
