I still don't get why you keep adding more difficulties when you have NEVER accomplished just the plain HC challenge. Solo Self found is very difficult, adding in layers of difficulty like you've done to it (like grey weapons only) is just plain ridiculous. What's next? Only Unarmed Combat? A Backpack limit? A No crafting Limit? A No Vendors either limit? Why set up to fail rather than succeed?

Advice From a person who's done HC a LOT in the past year: Should NOT have gone to the bandits first... always do wolves, then each successive type of kobolds, otherwise you get outleveled by your opponents. The Kobolds (and the chests inside the mine) are designed to drop you gear you need for the bandit area, including a higher level of BAG DROPS.

Don't let the family members rush you.... setting up your interface and add ons etc are important. And Alliance with actual gear is better than what has gone before so I'll give this another chance as a viewer. 🙂

Lack of wand is likely to be fatal in the end.... I don't think the Grey/white limitation is doable in the long term. Priests are limited enough the way it is, but a priest without magic weapons is a severe crippling of the class. I'd really like to see you play a straight a Solo Self Found Classic HC character without the silly limitations. Since you've said you haven't made it to 60. I find just plain HC hard enough to achieve.. and takes a long time if you don't do dungeons and grouping at all.

It is better with a single character in normal and to profession swap. Taking tailor and enchanted to get bags early on and make a wand, but the limits you are using are too tough. Grey and white is an early death sentence. Then once you have some bags and a wand you do the switch to alchemist/herb if thats your goal. Herbing/Skinning to gather herbs up and make some silver sellling off animal skins can also be a viable step then dropping the skinning for the alchemy when you have a bag full of herbs to work with, using the skins to pay for the bottles and training you will need for alchemy. Everything in wow is about scaling and that gear doesn't scale.

Hey there! I just stumbled upon this series via TH-cam recommendation. This is so precious. Seeing you enjoy WoW with your family just warms my heart. It's what I always wanted, but never got with my Mom/Dad/Sister. It's so nice to see a family that enjoys sharing in each others hobbies. I'll definitely be following along with this series and cheering you all on. GLHF P.S. I followed your Twitch as well, so hopefully I'll see some live sometime.

This is never going to go far. I don't expect this one to live past 15... there are only so many grey/white guns and bandoliers.

Sorry I find the pop ups, random rules, and input from the Chat way too distracting. I'd rather see the 4 of you straight out play the game without all that stuff. I'll stick to your solo content I think.

Although it's not exciting you might want to learn fishing in game to supplement income on the character and you will need it for alchemy and cooking advancement.

And the Wand problem, as I have commented before is that magic is inherently Green. This is why further limiting yourself to White/Grey items doesn't work, you are at less than half power for a mage already by the no armor/clothing limit. Remove the wand and you are at 1/4 survivability. In most HC solo self found is to have the skills to make your own gear (wands etc.) and in that case you can make a wand for low level use.

Re: Bags... the solution is to farm them in the starting areas, from the Kobolds and Bandits in the human starting zone (best drop rate) for the 6 slotters or the Kobolds around the first mine in Elwyn. You need to be willing to sit there and just keep killing them for a half hour or so just to get your bags.

Lol Can't see this lasting past level 20... there are no grey/white low level wands... and staves needed will be beyond the gold you can reach.

Thanks Fae! I'll check it out on a swunting run. Have been swunting low level Kerebos, and they're great for 250 to 300 sweat per mob, but I'm greedy and want weapon skills also from a higher mob count, in the same time frame. Keep the cool videos coming! <3
