Dear Buhl Calvary Assembly of God Church: I just finished watching your service from today, my local church, online. I haven’t been able to meet with you in person for over three years because of severe crippling pain and illness. I have missed assembling with you more than you can imagine. But I do watch your services often and meet online several times a week with some other powerful ministries. I haven’t been able to attend the Bible studies and prayer times that I used to be a part of, but I do pray regularly twice a week online with an international prayer group of over two thousand dedicated Spirit-filled christians. That may sound impersonal but, believe me, we have become extremely intimate in our united concerns and POWERFUL corporate prayer in the Spirit and words of encouraging interpretation. I wanted you to know that I am not back-slidden, but, in fact, my relationship and fellowship with God has grown more in the past few years than in all the nearly 40 years before this time! I wanted you to know this because I have kept quiet about it to the point where my isolation has probably been a hindrance to some who do not know why someone as active and dedicated as I was in the local church hasn’t been seen in so long a period of time. I mistakenly thought that the less I said the sooner I’d be strong and healthy enough to return to you. I repent of that because I needed your prayers and love, not solely God’s fellowship, as awesome as that has been. Pastor, your message today was a wake-up call to me. Thank you. Sharon Goodrich and I used to be in close fellowship together, but because I didn’t open up to her we have drifted apart and I was as unaware of her challenges as she has been of mine. I repent of that, too. I truly believe that God wants me well and strong so that I can fulfill ALL the parts of the life to which He has called me. Thank you for your prayers, Church. ❤️🙏🔥
