I don’t play board games often. But decided to buy This yesterday off a whim with little info on it. Clearly I really like it, because I am looking at a 2 hour video of the new extensions.

I have a question for anyone who might know. The series 3 vignette, will the final girl come with an envelope? Since we finally got them for the other two vignettes. Or will we have to wait for series 4? 😂

Man this is my first time watching this podcast. I loved it! So fascinating hearing Evan’s evolution into game design. I make mods of games I love as well and it’s so fun. Here’s a suggestion/ request for a final girl feature film…Call of Cthulhu. I know Cthulhu has been done quite a bit but I think this would be a great feature film and can introduce madness/horror as a mechanic. Making the game play change the more insane you become. Thanks again for a cool inside view into the game creating side. 😎

Loved getting a peak behind the design process. Have been thinking about FF for a possible series 4 for Final Girl: -Something Jurassic park themed, with dinosaurs/monsters on a remote island/jungle location. -Scream themed, maybe in a appartment building with our second vertical map then. Imposter mechanics, where even you as player can became the killer. -Something underwater, was thinking of a underwater research facility that get's attacked by an underwater threat. With breathing timer mechanics. -Cave/bat creatures, think The Cave movie in a cave location off course. With echolocation mechanics. -Further locations that seem fun en give creative possibilities are: -Plane -Cruiseship -Zoo -Farm with cornfields -Metro station -Sewers -Pyramids/catacombs -Swamp/Bayou Excited for the future!

52:30 - Bloodlust never should have gone up. Out of the 3 results, you were attacked. It doesn't say for each non attack. You have to look at the results as a group, not individually. Edit: Ignore this for Jonesy saved the day

I remain convinced that Evan chose this setting for “Killer From Tomorrow” so that you can pair it with “Terror From the Grave” for “Dawn of the Dead”.

Tali's already a top-tier girl. 6 health, only needs to save 4 victims, one of her save bonuses is the godly "Take any top Item card," another gets her a free Retaliate, flipping gets you another free reaction, and all reactions become permanently cheaper. I definitely would have preferred her over Kat.

I'm not sure why she was so hesitant to use the Van. In a worst-case scenario, it would give +1 movement per movement action card.

I actually really love the concept of AJ Reacts. If this is continued, I'd love comments about the design of certain cards, implications of the current board state, what strategies people could think about given a certain killer and board, why things turned out like they are, design process fun facts (even differences between designers that should come up often with mix and match scenarios) etc. There's lots of potential here to kinda dig deeper into what's happening in the playthrough. Would be sad if it were to be completely abandoned.

Replay crew: Colour me confused, I thought the saviour was meant to be an ally, feel like he needs super nanny to sort out the ‘tude 😅

I mean this in the nicest way possible, but please dont play cards if you dont have any cards you are willing to discard and just use the card next turn when you have more cards to discard

Just starting to watch this. And I noticed as you were putting the hearts and other wooden markers on the cards they are just sticking to the cards. Are they magnetized somehow?

I wasn’t sure if this one was going to work well or not, but it’s a home run! The thematic elements are so well implemented with those missions. I can’t wait for my ultimate box to come. I think I’ll put on some Kate Bush and play this film first!

I don't like agreeing with Kyle, but he's right about Friday the 13th. Just a boring series of movies, where people walk around in the woods, and get murdered sometimes. Well, mostly. It didn't actually do anything for the Slasher Genre. It brought nothing new to the table that wasn't already created earlier or done better by its contemporaries.

Kinda' just want the Carolyn's Revenge add-on. Hope that's being sold in some form outside of the giant #^%& off box.

I just recently got into final girl and I have a question after watching your stream. Are you able to sell action cards from your deck to get time to purchase other things in the planning phase?

It's so hard to play this game without mistakes. I know I'm making them every time. But frankly, who cares? It's so much fun! One of the few I saw that you didn't correct with text is that the megaphone also draws the killer towards you. He hears ya shouting! You can use this in clever ways, like pulling him into your space, and then you attack and RUN AWAY! But you caught something I don't think I ever have! Taking Souvenirs says increase bloodlust for each victim killed in the Killer Phase! I'm pretty sure I just did it for the victims killed by that terror card. Great catch. Makes that card EVEN worse. Yay? Love a good Final Girl play! Thank you! Happy Halloween!
