Overall not a bad pack lineup actually. I was expecting SV base, Paradox Rift, and Temporal Forces/Obsidian Flames mostly. Any SWSH in a mystery pack these days is nice.

One of my least favorite illustrations from 151 but a hits a hit! Nice pull. Edit: that come off way harsher than intended. I just mean there are so many incredible illustration rares in this set that in comparison this one just seems average but it is still a nice card.

Black Friday already? It feels like Black Friday is a week/month these days rather than a full day, awesome video as always!!

$20 ETBs at Target are a pretty good deal. I’m going to try to get a Brilliant Stars and Silver Tempest since I don’t have those boxes yet. It’s a great deal to pick up some Lost Origin but I have a couple LO ETBs already and I’ve pulled the Giratina V so I’m pretty ok with passing that one by. Other Black Friday deals don’t look great for Pokemon. Those Walmart boxes are alright but I have zero confidence my Walmarts would even stock them since they never have any Pokemon cards so I’ll probably pass on those as well.

Wow the choice of packs are actually pretty good this time around! I’m not the biggest fan of Temporal Forces but like you said anything that gives us a break from Obsidian Flames and SV Base is alright with me. A couple of apples for your hits not bad not bad, could have been better but it could have been worse too lol.

Regarding the Hercules legendary, well first I have to specify I’m primarily an art collector as far as Lorcana goes. I know how to play but I don’t know the meta. I’m not saying it’s a good card but I think as far as the ability goes you would just treat it as “emergency only”. The main point of the card is not to be a sniper but you can use it as such if necessary which gives it a more rounded utility. It’s a little bit of everything. A beater, a sniper, a quester. In my experience with TCGs in the past trying to make something high cost, good stats, and have a utility ability usually results in a card no one uses so I get what you’re saying. Pretty good opening anyway, hope we get to see a new enchanted soon.

I’m glad you guys are opening all the new stuff. I stopped buying Lorcana (temporarily!) to concentrate on buying Pokemon and now I have no money for either one because it’s the holidays. 😂 This does look like a really cool set, love the pirate theme. Lorcana is really cooking, the only thing they’re missing is random tins and collection boxes and an app so you can play on mobile. Maybe they’ll get there eventually. Anyway nice opening, looking forward to seeing more Azurite Sea soon.

While a Pikachu pack is an almost guaranteed hit I always felt like the others were just normal packs, no bias either way. Nice hit today! At least it wasn’t Judge or Paldean Students again lol.

Dammit now I feel like it's my duty to go snag atleast one of these before they are cleared out in stores. Low pull rate on this set for those rare cards so I'm guessing they could still hold some value especially sealed.

That was painful to watch! I was hoping they’d mix it up a little and maybe put a Temporal Forces in there or something. But nope, same old three they stuff into everything these days. By the way I think the new ball is a Moon Ball. Dusk Ball is green and black if I remember correctly.
