Hi. There is no padding on the earrings, but it should be pretty easy to add using a good bonding glue.

I'll have to check your videos but what if I want to only do a single strand. How do I attach the cord to the connector? Just a knot?
Hi, Pollyanna All you need to do is use about half the amount of elastic cord, enough for a single strand bracelet. Then follow the same process and connect each end to the connector., tie the knots on each end, apply glue to each knot then hide the knots inside the adjacent bead on either side of the connector. Hi, Sharon. Welcome. No I would not use crimp beads on elastic because the elastic would eventually break from the metal crimp rubbing against it. Good question.
