God, I am so glad that they brought 6v6 back... everyday before I went to bed, I would lie there, staring off into the darkness. The darkness was the one thing that felt familiar to me. 6v6 was gone. I had no place in the world. Without it, I was just an empty husk of a man. Once they announced the revival of 6v6 it felt as if the batteries of my heart, deep inside me, were replaced. I was born anew. With this newfound knowledge I rushed to boot up Overwatch 2. I played the game, and it felt like I was home again, with my Mother and Father, seeing them cook me breakfast for the first time after giving me a kiss on the forehead. Thank god it is back.

ALSO ITS NICE TO BE ABLE TO KILLA TANK AS A DPS OR SUPP.

6v6 is the only way I can enjoy the game now which sucks because my friends hate it and keep insisting 5v5 is better. I'm convinced it's because they like to one trick flanks and it's harder to do that with 2 tanks backing the team up.

The only issue I see with 6v6 is it just shows OW just went back on what they promised us. What is the difference from OW1 from Ow2? They added and reworked characters they could have kept doing in OW1. 6v6 doesn’t really make Ow2 better just makes it more nostalgic if anything but I haven’t touched ow since October so I might just need to touch it to really have an opinion Anyone down for some Marvel?

OW should just pack it in honestly

If they bring back 6v6, taking the game right back to where it was in Overwatch 1, this will have been the most elaborate and successful scam of all time

One thing i noticed after having just begun playing the game, is that 6v6 is a lot more freeing, the games are still intense, but they feel a lot more calm and chill than 5v5

after playing 6v6 again i literally cannot even think about queuing up for a 5v5 game, like i'd refuse any friend who would ask me to play comp just because i despise 5v5 and i do not wish to condemn myself to suffering in that format anymore, 6v6 has finally made me enjoy overwatch after 2 years of being stuck in this joke of a format that 5v5 is

I like the focus put on the fact that it’s just more interesting. I feel like that’s what the conversation should ALWAYS be about. Like, people get so hung up on which format can be more “balanced” and it’s like, even if 5v5 is more “balanced” (which of course is up for debate anyway), ultimately it just gets stale. For one, counterswapping means depending on your tank, you know some character that will probably be on the other team, meaning the matchups get really stale really fast. Dps and support just take angles where the tank isn’t and fight each other there and that’s the whole game for them, and of course, tank is miserable in its own way. But like, the question never should’ve been “is this balance-able?” The question should’ve always been “is this the game we want to commit to making?”. Anyway, point being, thanks for focusing on the less numerical side of it and more on the way it actually feels and the replayability. It’s the first time in OW2 I’ve actually wanted to hop on and play by myself without a friend asking. And the stuff you said is so much of the reason why

Niche pick *Shows him demolishing an entire lobby singlehandedly* Yeah Idk about that, shows how OW players remain delusional If you lose games with that performance, your tank has the blame for not covering space, and your Supports are to blame for not keeping said tank alive enough for em to even perform optimally, it's exactly why I steamroll Hanzo players even though they perform quite well. Remember, this is a team game, Hanzo isn't niche, he just barely has a weakness that is being unable to contest spaces at a bigger AoE due to him being Projectile, same with Reaper being unable to Contest any form of space unless his shotgun is up somebody's guts (he could use a buff in damage or survivability ngl) Widow on the other hand has the ENTIRE map as her space, which is why Hanzo feels Niche, Hanzo ain't bad, Widow is Overpowered, characters like her and Orisa are the reason for bad OW gameplay.
