I studied a little bit under Sheikh Abdullah Al Harariy's student Sheikh Khaled Al Zant subsequently the colleague of Sheikh Nizar Al Halabi. I wish I had met Sheikh Abdullah Al Harariy and studied under him!! That would have been my honest honor of my life! Once I even dreamt of him even though I never met him! I hold him in highest regards May Allah protect him and his households as well as all his students! To me, they are the best Islamic scholars of our time! No, one and I mean absolutely no one can beat them in a one on one debate about anything! Allahu Akbar!

In this lesson, the Sheikh is asked questions about the symbol of the cross and I wanted to understand some judgements regarding it like the students. I think some people put a long stick and short stick together, short stick being the horizontal one, and it looks like a cross but they don’t mean to build the cross of Christianity but a doll, put a head on the long stick and dress it up. But what happens if a person makes/draws a cross *and* they’re intending the cross of Christianity?
1:15:51 can you pls elaborate more on the part i stamped (around that) in simple terms?
To exaggerate how much one hates a things, or to hilight how confident they are in a matter, in some regions it’s common in the colloquial to be said “I’ll do drugs the day I become a kafir” or “I hate Zayd so much, I’ll be a kafir before I befriend him”. This is a literary device known as a hyperbole, meaning they’ll never do drugs, or they’ll never befriend Zayd. They don’t blaspheme for it, however such a statement is sinful and ugly. We should strive to use beautiful language.
What is the judgement on the one who doubts/denies the Angels?
Since it is a case of revelation, we look first to see if the person is aware that the existence of Angels were mentioned by the scholars of Islam, confirmed by the Muslim masses, revealed in the Quran, and/or revealed in the Hadith corpus. That’s the first step.
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. We ask Allah to raise the rank of Prophet Muhammad sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, and to protect his nation from what he fears for it. Thereafter: Allah Al-Hayy Al-Qayyum exists without a place. That is the ^aqidah of all the Muslims of Ahl Sunnah Wal Jama^ah and of all the Prophets and Companions. The proof of this precious statement is what Allah said in the Qur'an, in Surat ash-Shura, ayah 11: قال الله تعالى: {لَيْسَ كمثلهِ شىءٌ وهوَ السَّميعُ البصيرُ}[سورة الشورى] which means: There is absolutely nothing like Allah whatsoever, and He has the attributes of Hearing and Seeing. This Ayah absolutely clears Allah of resembling the creations. It comprises that Allah Ta^ala, is absolutely different from the creations in the Self, Attributes, and Actions. Hence, it shows that Allah Ta^ala exists without a place, because whatever exists in a place is by nature composed of particles, it is a body, occupying a space. Allah Ta^ala, is clear of occupying spaces. Al-Bukhariyy, al-Bayhaqiyy and Ibnul-Jarud related that the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, said: روى البخارىُّ والبيهقىُّ وابنُ الجارود أن رسولَ الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "كان الله ولم يَكُنْ شَىءٌ غَيْرُهُ". which means: Allah existed eternally and nothing else existed. This hadith proves that only Allah existed without a beginning, before creating any of the creation. There was nothing with Allah: no place, no space, no sky, no Earth, no light and no darkness. It is determined in the rules of the Religion and the sound mind that Allah, The Exalted, does not change. Hence, it is impossible that after having been existing without a place, Allah will change and dwell in a place, because this is a development. The development is a sign of needing others, and the one who needs others is not God. The true aqidah of muslims, that Allah exists without a place, and does not resemble His creations in any way. Allah existed before time and place, and He exist as He existed before time and place. And Allah doesn't change, as change is for the creation and NOT The Creator (SubHana wa Ta^ala). Allah exists without a place. Allâh created the Throne (`Arsh) as an indication of His Power and did not take it as a residing place. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. May Allah keep us on the right path. Ameen.

Just wondering, regarding the parents requesting the son to divorce his wife, if the wife is an upright Muslimah and the parents want her gone because perhaps she’s fallen ill or can’t have children in the meanwhile, wouldn’t the parents be hurting the Muslimah’s heart? Asking because it’s known that it’s haram to hurt a Muslim.
If they mention a reason not based on her religiosity or manners to their son, the son shouldn’t relay that reason to his wife IF he’s going to divorce her. With the example you mentioned, if they told him to divorce her because she’s barren (which is very crass), it wouldn’t be wise for him to say “I’m divorcing because my mom and dad said I should since you can’t produce children.” Executing your rights is one thing, but HOW we execute our rights as Muslims makes a great difference in our outcomes with others.
I'm sorry if my question is something answered by what you mentioned in the vid but I didn't really understand. But the points you made, it reminded me is how it's been revealed to the Muslim that he may eat from the Jews and Christians slaughter according to their law and how Jews and Christian mention the name of Allah when slaughtering the animal. So, something I've wondered about is how Jews and Christians have corrupt beliefs, for example, Christians claim Prophet Jesus to "son of God" or "God" and Jews attribute a place or resting to God. So these Christians and Jews have not actually known the true Lord and if when they mention the name of God while slaughtering and by "God" they understand Jesus peace be upon him or some man in the sky or the Throne, how would things work? Like I've been pondering about this.
Slight correction my friend: we may eat the slaughter of the Jews and Christians if their slaughter complies with OUR law, not their law. Regarding your second question, their slaughter would be invalid is they slaughter in the name of Jesus or Uzayr for example. However if they merely say a valid term for the rightfully worshipped one, such as God or Lord in any language, then although they have a CORRUPT belief in Allah, the one they just invoked IS Allah, therefore it’s a valid slaughter. When they say “Allah”, the one addressed is still Allah.
Around 5:50 to 5:55, why did you say "the explicit proposal to woman who's in her iddah is permissible"? Men have got to wait for the iddah period to end to propose to the woman. Or you meant "impermissible"?
Yes you are correct, thank you for catching my slip of the tongue.

Sheikhnā, may Allāh make you among the highly righteous Muslims, if a person does a gheebah then before reaches the ear of spoken one he repents from this, and then it reaches the person for whom he had spoken, is he obligated to say something here i.e. to say I did such'n such but I repented from it, so be merciful and forgive me?
آمين وايكم سيدي❤. Yes you are correct in the case you mentioned. May Allah protect us from harming our fellow believer, for their status is higher than the status of the Ka’bah. We don’t know who is loved by Rasulallah ﷺ. This is a good reminder for myself.

narration for Ali's saying?
This is mentioned in Al-Farqu Baynal Firaq by Al-Hafidhu Imam Al-Baghdadi about 1,000 years ago. بارك الله فيكم
@HouseOfDoose The chain has a gap of 350 years apart. How am I supposed to take from this if imam bukhari would classify it either weak or Fabricated under these conditions? Bring a hadith with a chain of narration.
@@Abdulrahman_Al_Albani You dont have to take from the route of Al-Baghdadi if you don’t feel like it. God bless.
it just isn't a reputable source. There has to be a better narration out there if what you're saying is true in this video. @@HouseOfDoose
