Hi DragonautX thanks for checking in. Sry for not answering, havent been active on TH-cam for a while. I have not been playing Soul Calibur 2 but Im thinking of playing a little bit once in a while again. How are you doing? Are you working on any projects?

@@EdgeCalibur That's okay. Thanks for replying. I'm ok. I had a job interview last Wednesday for a game studio. I got rejected, but that's alright. I'll keep looking. I want to look for a job that's not games this time. I still do my "custom AI" thing for SC 2. No AI yet, but I think it's going well. Is life busy for you? Like are you busy with your job? Or are you married and spend a lot of time with your family?

Ok hope you will find another job then. Yeah been busy with work and stuff. Hope to make more videos soon but dont know when. Best of luck about finding a job and with your custom AI on SC2.

@@EdgeCalibur Thanks. Yeah, sure. I need to think about "Fair Use" law more if I want to continue the custom AI. But If someone sees my video and is interested in learning computer science, I'd be open to helping them.

I understand it must be complicated with fair use and copyright laws, but its very cool what you have accomplished. And Im sure alot of people would like to learn programming from you. Its just difficult to get views and get noticed these days, with millions of TH-cam channels and videos. Dont know if it would help alot, but I would be happy to mention your demo and channel in my next talking video. But let me know if you are not comfortable with me doing so, because of the "Fair use" issue.

​@@EdgeCalibur --You can talk about it in a video--. That's fine. I think some projects are allowed because they show original work. Like, search "super smash brothers dolphin ai". If you type "super smash brothers arxiv", you can find the related paper. Others may do too much. Search "gta reverse engineering". I think they got taken down because they released too much reverse engineered code. It wasn't necessary to show that much for their mods. You get a DMCA notice at first. If you do what they ask, you won't get in trouble. It only goes to court if you disagree. I'm only showing a video. I'm not sharing code yet. If someone asks, I can show them my gamecube disk and explain I only have a PC copy for research. --So ya, I say it's ok--. I'm not looking to get hundreds of views. If I can find one person who wants to study computers with me, then I'm happy.

Thats cool seems like a good idea. Im not sure you probably know best. Maybe you can explain a little bit around the AI you will show in the demo? But again you know best of course.

I dont know if this is a good advice, maybe just say what you said that its a demo about an AI that shows A and B attack. Sry if its a bad idea I dont know alot about this

@@EdgeCalibur What you said is good. It makes me think, "For a demo, maybe I should talk more about what the AI can do instead of programming details." I haven't said much in our messages. For my demo, I made three small programs. 1. about guarding. 2. guarding only when the opponent is close 3. avoiding, guarding, and counterattack. ```` Do you want to know more? I know I keep repeating, "Feel free to ask questions." It's just I think it'll help me a lot, from personal experience. For example, look at this blog I wrote: dragonaut.blogspot.com/2017/12/continued-opengl-forum-response-on-glfw.html I think I took 1 or 2 weeks to write that for a forum post. Looking back at it, I think it's better to talk to people more before making an article or video. I can probably say more helpful things because of that instead of saying as much as I can.

Thanks yeah maybe more like that, but then again I dont think Im qualified to give advice about it. It sounds very interesting with the demo about the 3 ways of guarding. I quickly checked out the blogpost, understand that it took a long time writing it. Very technical about programming, it must be very helpful for programmers. If I would like to try programming I think I would definitely have to read that in detail.
