The Reason why Panel Recordings are so difficult is there Using A Board Mix and that sometimes don't get everything besides the speaker i have heard many Panel Recordings they should at least have an extra mic to also pick up what the person is asking the Speaker so if you don't have that extra mic yes it will be hard to hear them Take my Live Streaming radio show i will sometimes have a guest on and if i didn't turn there mic up it will be hard to hear them or sometimes what there saying will bleed into my mic the same does apply in anything audio that you do and being a board Op is also challenging as well and i deal with this also on a weekly basis even if it's just myself in the studio.

Organ Stop Pizza in Mesa Arizona home to what was the worlds largest Wurlitzer organ of 4 manuals and 82 ranks that's around 6000 pipes! There are some fantastic recordings of great American theatre organists who have graced the bench like Charlie Bologh, Lew Williams who is a personal favourite of mine, Ron Rhodes, and many others! I would love to go there but it's a bit of a trek as I'm in the UK!

hey if you ever decide to go again and film try showing yourself walkimg sround the outside of the building because on the outside there are some windows that show the blower room (the machines supplying air to the organ) and if you go walk around the back of the building some more youll come across a window with the largest pipes in the entire building and maybe you can show yourself reqquesting songs or maybe whenever the trumpets behind you in this video go off you can record them just some thoughts but keep up the great work

Hi Dan, thanks for your wonderful comments about our SP15 microphones and how nicely they work with the Zoom F3. The cable we use is made by Mogami chosen because it is 100% shielded to reject RF noise especially from cell phones. That is a big problem when dealing with very sensitive microphone signals. So we have to give up some flexibility to get the lowest possible noise. It's that low noise floor and the wide dynamic range that makes the SP15 an especially good match for 32 bit floating point recording.

SO COOL!! I just ran across this musical program and it reminds me of when I lived in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle, WA. There was a Pizza and Pipes restaurant there that had a medium sized Wurlitzer that I just loved! We went nearly every weekend and I was always an organ enthusiast but i played mostly church organs. But to have a real Wurlitzer so close was unbelievably thrilling! And i still love good theater organs, so this one is right up there in my estimation and enjoyment! Thank you for posting!

I hope the pizzas are equally cheesy 🤓. Seriously, a splendid sound. It would be an excellent advertisement for the restaurant if we were told where it is, because ….. people outside the US have actually progressed past the Stone Age and have TH-cam too !

I have been there, you definitely go for the organ not the pizza (which is mediocre at best), I thoroughly enjoyed the organ.

Unfortunately, although "unfortunately" just for this organ and restaurant, I live in Australia, so it's a bit difficult to go out for a meal in Arizona. And what a place for a pizza - this organ is incredible. Apart from all of the visual gimmicks to entertain the patrons, the sound of this instrument (whether heard "binaural" or ordinary stereo) is truly remarkable, and the staff organists seem to be among the very best in the world. Wonderful arrangements that are both very musical, but demonstrate the vast resources of the organ. To play a pipe organ is regarded as the most difficult activity a human can undertake - the demands on mental and physical coordination are unmatched by any activity, from flying the most advanced experimental aircraft on - you name it. And we see and hear the best here, surpassing the skills of many renowned classical organists. I've played (rather badly, comparatively speaking) a 10,000 pipe "classical" organ here in my home town, and can appreciate the demands placed on a good performer (even on a poor performer), so can really appreciate the skills and talents on show in this restaurant - and you can get pizzas too!!! Fabulous.

It's Russ from Sonic here. I like the video with all those flashing lights, but what gets my attention is the sound. You captured some awesome bass sounds that really show off the low frequencies. Try playing it on loud speakers. It shakes the walls! It's like being in a big movie theatre. Great job!

Wonderful tonal range. Are you wearing the mikes and sitting very still or did you set them on something? I’m curious if they would pick up your breathing if you were sitting in a quiet field recording bird sounds.

You did a good job balancing the spatial audio with the stage dialog. Mike here at Sonic has done several music recordings by balancing close mics on instruments with the binaural for the over all pickup. The balance is tricky, but that is how we actually hear.

Get some solder paste. That makes life so much easier when dealing with tiny SMD components. Surface tension pulls the parts into place, so you don't have to touch anything.
