@@teo2216 Consecration? Yes I did :D unfortunately it does not have the same effect as your character does not go forward enough to stop the shrapnel from spreading, however still a good combo imo!

I’m a hunter main but made a build with these. I think one of the other main perks for these legs that people aren’t talking about is it having intrinsic danger zone. So get those slideshot surrounded rockets out or use parasite or also use salvation grip up close when breaking the crystals with another shot without worrying about too much self damage. I did find that prospectors cluster bombs Insta delete you 😂
I was using these and almost immediately was thinking "there's gotta be some trick to focusing this shrapnel a bit." Thanks for figuring it out and spreading the info!
Update: Just tested this with the Slide -> Uncharged Melee. It's so easy to pull off and it just deletes stuff holy hell. Even took it through a couple GMs and it put in crazy work w/ the tech!
@@SteelShad0w_ Thank you for the update! This is more amazing than I thought, so much damage for basically no cost as at this point even the regular melee can have the same effect!
@@SteelShad0w_ are you doing anything in particular? I'm doing an uncharged melee right after sliding in the enemies face but crystals fly everywhere
@@merlin4063 I've been making sure I'm about as close as I can get before I slide in. The less distance between me and the target, the less room for the shrapnel to go wide and miss em. Other than that it was just making sure that I was hitting the melee right after I started sliding so I did the slide animation then the melee right after. Another tip: I've noticed that it's much more consistent vs bigger targets like Knights and Colossi. Unsure about fallen captains. Very unsure about Subjugators, they're very tall and thin so I'm doubtful but still worth testing.
@@SteelShad0w_ do you actually end up shattering the crystals between you and the enemy? because for me, they end up between us unbroken ( since its an uncharged melee, it doesnt break the crystals that form after) using charged melee destroys them like in the video

You can do the same with a normal melee and the strand melee, also if you do this with thrusters you get like a weird vertical jump! It's really cool!
You can get the same result if not slightly better by using a neutral melee instead of shiver strike. Since the neutral animation is super fast it makes almst all the crystals insta burst on the target.
@@resentfusion5634 you are god damn right! this may pair very well with knockout since you get some extra melee range, making you "teleport" to the enemy from a little farther away

I knew someone would figure out how to make this thing work better. So little of this community actually gives things a chance and calls them unusable or whatever. Now tell them to say it to your face!

He's right tho. Compared to other titan exotics these are just bad. When we have near 10 second supers with t crash, lucky pants smg edition, insta freeze on demand mantel, damage plus healing mask, or good ole fashion punchaceps (not even including class items) these pants fall short with the lack luster action of its perk.
