You're obviously not in the scene. Everyone and their baby Mama was at Outbreak. It happened in the same week in Europe and who the hell wants to go to a Las Vegas event with their parents sitting around? It's never about the money! It's about the vibe, the party, the circles, the after parties, the hidden talent, the new generation etc like bro I get it, it's 10k woopty woo congratulations to that "one" person but that's not what this culture is about. Facts! These type of events is to sway corporate "elites" to attract mainstream media to make profit bla bla but where is the Hiphop atmosphere, the Graffiti, the parties, the raw ghetto cyphers etc? We need more real jams like Outbreak!

@@ghetsis9967 if promoters didn’t charge money at the door for people to come in and enjoy the culture, then you can sit there and stand on high ground and say it’s not about the money, but since they charge admission fees and collect money from sponsors and charge fees for vendors and write off the cost of marketing and other services they provide from the money they earn, its a business like any other. i’ve been involved in the community for over 37 years and I hear this all the time from people who have not shed blood, sweat, and tears actually learning how to do breaking at an extremely high level good enough to even win an event at today standards. it’s so easy to throw the dancer under the bus but expect them to train their entire life to entertain us and all they get is $500 and the promoter gets $700,000 from the government to do the event such as the IBE, plus charges admission fees, and gets money from sponsors as well as the venue is at a reduced cost through the government. you sound Hella ignorant and wanna make these dancers indentured servants to a small group of promoters who get rich off of them.

Was the Europe redbull event really only 500? I dont think a big even like that is that cheap for winners. Ive seen small tournaments 1st place going for 1k already or 800. I think the Europe event might be a few thousand, or else no one would've joined. Because they had duos and solos and top bboys were there from most countries

Not to sure what this message meant. Abe breaked a lot and battled a lot of legends as well. He was known to battle anyone before flex flave was created. Everyone gets older and slows down that is the nature of the dance. I honestly don't know what your post meant or was supposed to mean. If you were not around those times you can't speak on it
