I started a peer support specialist job a month and a half ago at a drug treatment center and I love it. I love it so very much. I thank the Lord every day for sending me back where he delivered me from to help others stuck in the bondage of addiction.

Is Eugene an ALL WHITE Town? Coz i DIDN'T see any other community in the video or is it coz other communities r not allowed at this village? M perplexed! Edit: Just googled about this town.. *KKK STRONGHOLD YIKES*! I'll rather be dead than in that town.

@Unicorn Bunny , it's not even close to being a KKK stronghold, your out of your mind lol. Its considered a hippy/college type town and it's the 3rd biggest city in Oregon so quite a mix of different people.

I to believe new codes and laws need to be made to allow homeless to use any public land for sleep as long as its kept clean and neat ,as well as resources on the streets to help homeless with showers an restrooms ,along with comunity cooking areas and dry sleeping spaces even if its not got every comfort it she be possible for them to live in place untill it is

+Kenny Elsbree . Understood, but when you own nothing, and your body starts to shut down because you need to sleep, where do you go? Imagine if tomorrow you woke up and did not have a job, or a home, or a car, or money. After you exhausted all your friends, family and other resources to try to obtain housing where would you go when your body started to fall asleep? They can't stay awake forever, they're human!

Assuming this ladies profession is to advocate for government support for individuals in the homeless camps. It's quite apparent she is focused a talented organizer and quite able to work and get herself into housing. Apparently she likes and feels needed to libe with and be a spokes person for the camp...she certainly get's credit for that sacrafice. Maybe one day she will feel ready to move on and leave "the community behind". The government does need to provide mental health out reach to many in the homeless community...as those issues are what keep them in the camps...where they feel accepted and safe.

+55MG If nobody sacrifices themselves for the betterment of mankind, who will speak up for those less fortunate? Your assumption is that we all must think first of ourselves and obtain housing for ourselves and leave others behind....isn't that the root of this problem to begin with? Nobody wants to stay behind with the less fortunate...it's easier to just keep them moving from camp to camp than to simply help....right?

I think we need to change the title from Homeless....to LCFR.....Limited Carbon Footprint Resident.....this is a feasible choice for anyone not wanting the Standard American Dream that involves MUCH wasted space and resources. This should be an option for everyonee

I can tell you that at the time of this writing, that if there is a homeless veteran on the street, unless they have extreme extenuating circumstances like felony fugitive status, I can immediately find them a situation to improve their living circumstances, and help with mental health issues, especially PTSD, which it sounds like this guy has.
