It all started in a shed, with a boy who wanted a better looking helmet. Fast forward a couple of decades and Image Design Custom are now the UK’s leading custom paint and design shop. We take rad things and make them even more rad. We facilitate the lifetsyles of some of the worlds leading brands and athletes. Our belief’s are cemented in delivering the highest quality of work and with a service that is second to none. We live, breath and bleed every apsect of what our brand stands for.
We painted an Air Jordan 4 Lighting Custom Helmet!! // Image Design Custom
For the release of the AJ4 Retro "Tour Yellow" we took a dive into Jordan's history. Very few people know that Michael Jordan had a special place in his heart for motorsports. In honour of his passion for motorsports we got together renowned Sneaker boutique Titolo who teamed up with motorcycle daredevil Danny Schneider to create a totally unique project. Titolo gave us a blank canvas, with the main point of inspiration being the iconic Air Jordan 4. Instead of creating a 'literal' design based on the shoe, we utilised some of the shapes and lines from the shoe itself and created a totally unique design. With contrasting matt and gloss finishes, coupled with a cement effect paint this helmet truly paid homage to the iconic sneaker that it was based on.

Great work! I have been wanting to do a similar camo inspired by the Xbox controllers modern camo designs on my Honda rebel. May I ask if the carbon fiber finish on the tank was a vinyl wrap? I wonder if vinyl wrap a can be sanded like that to get a matte finish.
