Honestly extremely based to put laurence at S tier. I believe his moveset is incredibly engaging, it's a fun fight mechanically when you aren't just trying to r1 it to death like most bosses in the base game. Laurence has 3 phases, only the first one is really a 1 to 1 of cleric beast. His AI in phase 2 is much different and why most people find it a significantly harder fight than cleric beast. I like phase 2 too, people say it's bad because it's not a duel like maria or kos but there's nothing wrong with being different and I like the approach of teaching the player good area management in it, the lava doesn't last long either compared to like, say magma wyrm. It's a good fight. But I do think the shadows of yharnam hate is unwarranted. There's nothing offensively bad about them, they are quite a good gank fight considering they have split aggression and I like how useful the arena obstacles are to focus on one or two specific shadows. I'd give it a B or an A tier. orphan phase 2 is incredible, it feels super visceral and the chaotic music compliments it well. It's also very experimental and you can sneak in some really creative hits. Maria I think is basically a perfect fight, my favorite in the game.

This game was probably the easiest Fromsoft game I’ve played yet. I always heard how hard the game was. Then I played it and all the bosses were a cake walk and the game was pretty shot even w the DLC. The only boss that was a problem is Descendente Pthumeriano in the Chalice Dungeon. Can’t help but feel the game was over hyped. At the same time loved the atmosphere because the RE4/Village vibes. Didn’t like how allot of the bosses looked damn near the same. It was definitely fun tho. If they remastered it I’d get it day one.

Father G and Logarius should be higher cause of the variety of their movesets from their multiple phases + top tier music and great presentation and lore. Father G’s family side quest might be the most personal and emotional npc side quest they’ve done. Idk how you have bosses like Cleric Beast and Paarl higher who both have 1 phase with a basic moveset and bad camera mechanics and much less interesting lore lmao Oh and Shadows of Yarnham is #1 or #2 best gank fight they’ve ever done ngl. 3 unique very well balanced enemies with cool movesets and with 3 phases that beautifully escalate the fight

I would’ve replaced Vicar Amelia with Micolash, because he’s genuinely fun to fight for me now. Fun Fact: To dodge a call beyond roll into the attack, and then it’s an easy Micolash fight. Vicar Amelia is just annoying just can throw you in the air and then one pixel of you touched her and now she’s jumping on you like a dog

Man some of the bosses in this game almost made me quit, not because of dificulty, but because they were either rng based or annoying af, mikolash,emyssary, amygdala,witch of hemwick, rhom and the shadows of yarnam are utter garbage, its clear they tried to experiment with certain bosses but they made some of the worst encounters in the series, this game really pulled me in with the first 4 bosses just for it to go downhill fast (not inlcuding the dlc, those were peak)
