Thanks man, Thanks for starting off the playlist with Souls of Mist, for my money the most atmospheric and compelling menu theme in Souls.

personally think all that's missing is the Roundtable Hold, otherwise almost perfect collection

going through this and seeing nearly all of my favourite parts cut out.. sometimes the best parts arent just the loudest.

I love how the gank squad gets some of the hardest music in the whole series and the fight is literally just you and 3 dudes running around in circles

Some Soulsborne boss themes are made to raise your heartbeat and get your adrenaline going. It feels like going against a god and you have no chance of winning. Everytime I fight a boss with that kind of theme I can feel my heart beat all through my body. My veins burning, ignited with adrenaline, to raise my performance to the very best. To overcome the impossible. Those are just some though. There are also themes that make you sad for fighting the bosses. You can feel they have a reason to fight, other than rage, revenge or mindless slaughter. They stand tall in front of you to protect something dear. They are not your enemy, they are just in the way. They make you feel like youre the monster. That you would do anything to reach your goals, no matter who or what you have to get rid of. All this not just in the music, but also always supported by the way the boss fights, moves and even approaches. Cutscenes make a great foundation for the fight, but the fight itself is what lets you understand the boss better, if he is designed well. Its often said that fists can talk and thats exactly what it feels like. To fight these bosses you have to focus, you sometimes have to see the slightest move to realise where and when the attack is coming. You have to watch their every move and you will understand their way of fighting. A game that can give me these feelings, make me this focused, get me this invested in a fight. Its a masterpiece series.

Compared to its predecessors, elden ring’s osts are pretty bloated in my humble opinion. They’re all mostly bombastic with a mess of instruments that don’t really complement each other so most of the osts with some exceptions just sound like loud noise without any melody which makes them more forgettable. My favorite elden ring osts are tree sentinel and godskin apostle/noble and godfrey first elden lord because they have a memorable and nice melody. Whereas most of the other osts just sound the same to me. I haven’t played the DLC yet so I don’t know about that.

So glad to see all of these clashed together. Especially the Bloodborne OST's. they all fit together perfectly! Glad to see almost all of Gehrman's theme in here!

which one would be a solid upgrade from a 3200G/A320: 5500 for 80 USD or 5700G for 170 USD?

Liked the tracks, i personally would add more Ds1 songs, something like Sif, Moonlight Butterfly and Gwyn. And Scadutree Avatar as well, super underrated theme. Otherwise they are all solid.

Aside from when you blatantly and jarringly skip my favorite parts of Gherman’s theme, awesome collection!

I really think Laurence's theme is very underrated, since nobody speaks about it. Not only it has good instrumental and vocals, it also has latin lyrics! (Ludwig also has them) which talks about their respective lore or them overall. I think this aspect of both of their respective themes are unappreciated and should be talked more about.

Old Dragonslayer goes WAY too hard. But, it is from DS2, best game in the trilogy, so it deserves it. (This is my opinion, so dont tell me hurr durr DS2 bad)

Never realized how much good music ds2 had. I'm a ds2 hater and will have to say, the music is wasted on a game with so mediocre gameplay but the music is great.
