tried not to be a perfectionist while making this HAHA. also the first audio is called "Chase It You Fucking Waste Of Life".. how perfect is that
"Make proof of your existence" reminded me of "Now the people will know we were here" th-cam.com/video/JD7rAD_S-fE/w-d-xo.html
I learned how to be patient when I was put in a holding cell for 2-3 days. I wont get in to the specifics, but you can really learn how to be patient if you are forced in to a situation where you have nothing else to do but wait. Having your freedom taken away is as sobering experience and it's is the ack of not being in able to do what I wanted that made me slow down and think about my actions and the passing of time. from fellow artist I hope this help :) ps. i like your work
im my art class we are studying concealment, I decided to do the concept of sexual attraction targeted towards woman bodys. nil it is kind of a social experiment to see who focuses on the fact the woman in my drawings are naked, or the fact they are making themselves grotesque and repulsive. unsurprisingly most people comment on the lack of clothes and state "its cus.your a lesbian" its starting to make me think whether people actually analyse art or they just look at it and point out what's ugly or morally wrong.
oh I'm using this thank youuuuu @6:59
A most beautiful sharing, thank you

I'm glad I've stumbled upon your channel! You have really interesting works and thoughts, I will gladly follow your growth!
10:03 I’m sorry, but don’t fear becoming her too much. It’s easy to become someone you hate when you’re only focused on the people you don’t want to be. I hope you find someone you’re excited to become.

I remember very specifically this one image in one of my dreams. It was kind of a dream within a dream. It was basically this black-haired kid sitting at a table across from these rusty robots (also kind of last supper-esque). Then the image panned out to reveal the head of a blond dude on a silver platter and all the robots looked back. I don’t remember feeling anything. Honestly, I’m more disappointed idk how to draw or anything bc I really want to draw this 😩
i vibe with this
Mind gotta catch up with the spirit, the creative spirit:] Your intuition will either make sense later, or it won't matter if it makes sense, cuz it resonates with you lol.
What a lovely video to stumble upon at 4am when I should be sleeping! I got so excited when you brought up apophenia and pareidolia - I wrote a paired short story and poem exploring them that are very dream-like, and I've never heard anyone else mention the phenomena. I'll be interested to see if/what you create to explore them!
I had a period of time where I couldn't remember my dreams at all most days of the year but I've been remembering my dreams way better than usual lately. when something cool happens I'm always like "ah, this is such a vibe I should draw it but I'm gonna be mad at myself for not remembering this very well when I wake up"
She cute.
Finally! Someone who has vivid and detailed dreams like I do! Why am I surrounded by people who say they can't remember a single bit or just don't care? Dreams are fascinating, and I've always wanted to depict mine through animation and illustration. Mine can be rather abstract as well, but, no matter how odd they get, they're almost always structured as a sequence of events, a story.
the dreams i have are usually very sensical in the context of themselves but when i wake up they seem so far removed from reality that i cannot begin to think of ways to portray them in illustration, and thats kinda frustrating
I'm currently finding a balance between chaos and order in my art, I find that I naturally gravitate towards chaos more, that's all good and well, but I find it leaves me wishing for more, im done with doing art from my unconsciousness, I want to dive in more controled art to further empower both sides of the coin, the chaos benefits from order and order benefits from chaos It was nice to find your channel, feels like a great stimulus for me as an artist in general, hope whoever is reading this has a great day.
Dang, my dreams are not like that My mind is very, well context as well: autism makes it extremely difficult to contact my intuition Its very fluid and motion based imagination, so in the aphantasia test thing I can picture the apple pretty well but it will start spinning or shifting shape. I spend a lot of my time imagining action or fighting scenes like superhero stuff, its like dancing, which I also do When im sleepy enough, and thats when I can tell usually im falling asleep soon, I just a series of objects and colors and things from my mind leading into one another, so it could be interesting if I tried to capture that... tho I dont do stuff fast enough so would probably need to record myself describing it
Cool video
My oh my have I stumbled upon a TH-cam Channel 😳 Instant sub
have you ever been stuck thinking about the reason of why you make art?
This video was such a treat to randomly find. I loved hearing your thoughts and reflections about art and dreams. Very interesting and relateable and it has given me new reflections that i will take with me.
I'm so happy I stumbled upon your page. I'm a new artist on TH-cam and totally relate your viewpoints and love your style. <3
It insists upon itself
Thank you for teaching me what is being profound! I identify myself through your content. By the way, your dream made me think of a horror movie. You migh need to write the script down. I agree that you are a surrealist. You are, through both the word and in the brush/pencil. My question is that "do you feel you communicate with an audience or explore an outer world within yourself?
you have such it girl energy. i can’t wait to see where your art goes!! ^_^
Loooooove this
love your commentary on this video, very interesting, inspiring and relatable! keep it up!
Keep the grind going!!🔥
The opening dancer.
Shut up and draw ig idk

Art is art
Had some odd dreams recently myself. What was strange about one was that I seemed to be able to measure time, carrying over an experience I had before going to sleep. Filled up my fuel tank, before driving home for the night, and during the dream I had that evening, I woke up in my car. Noticed it was running, and, wondered how long I'd been asleep. Looked at the fuel gauge, and noticed it had gone down by a quarter of tank. Realized that I had filled it up (that night), and had been asleep long enough for the fuel to run down from after filling it up (which had actually happened). After waking up, told myself that I must have arrived at wherever I needed to be, and got out of my car, which was parked in front of a generic tan bricked building. Walked up the steps leading to the building, and started to wonder around. It was odd because I had never carried over my waking experience into my dream and then become conscious of my situation. The second dream was strange because I could see myself as a character in my dream. The view was sort of above, and I could see myself sitting down, tying my shoe. Liked the drawing with the crystal.
why is this title so relevant to my life rn lmao
I clicked on this because I’ve always had very weird dreams, but I think yours out weirded mine. I’m also an artist so I really should start drawing mine too
Speaking of tesseracts, have you read Alan Moore's Jerusalem? I think it'd inspire you.
Something that helps me is to write continuously (writing without thinking hard about spelling or grammar) about my dreams; including daydreams. And to draw quick thumbnails of everything, automatic drawings, I'll do 15-20 boxes on a page of paper. The thumbnails can also be tied with the writing as well.
woooah thank you im going to try this !
@@shrollong highly recommend doing this daily, it really adds up. It helps me develop alot purely from my imagination as well instead of doomscrolling for references. If you do it for a week, you might find yourself with about 200+ sketches and can lead to new ideas.
Have you tried automatic writing as well? Same concept, just with words. The less you're thinking the more your handwriting style changes because you loosen up.
@@NightWink129 Automatic writing is what I do, I'm not a writer in a traditional sense, my work deals more with scripts. Like a blurry photo, dreams aren't always crystal clear, I think automatic writing helps create a bridge from your mind to the tip of your pen by having a constant motion.
i loved this video. when i tell people about my dreams they often say i have really unique and intense dreams, but its always been that way and ive assumed most dreams are like mine in some way, but have come to understand thats not the case. but what you described of your dreams felt similar to some of mine in a way i appreciated. ive also been making art my whole life but i have yet to create anything i feel represents my dreamscapes in a meaningful way, which is unfortunate. but ill just have to try more often and without thinking. thanks
FANTASTIC🤩👏🏽😃
This was a very valuable video to me. I think I fear my unconscious mind a bit. You seem to have incredibly vivid dreams like myself, but do you ever lucid dream? I frequently lucid dream, or find myself in a state between lucid and not lucid. Your video has encouraged me to make better use of that time I have, to be more curious while I’m in that lucid state. It’s a little frightening. I’ve had dreams of eating very sticky taffy and my teeth would break apart if I moved my jaw by the smallest margin, and the sensation seems eerily close to what it might actually feel like. I’ve dreamt of many more sensations than that, and I feel that may be why I’ve been hesitant to poke or prod at the simulation too much while I’m lucid. When I was a child, I remember trying to tell people in the dream that they’re not real, and then tried to prove it to them by conjuring something out of thin air. I convinced a couple of them, but they were very calm. Evidently, they were a part of me so they had nothing to fear.

This is why you suck

Random but you look like the female version of Brandon Grogan
neat stuff
dad turning into a snail/fish-like creature sounds studio ghibli-esque. i dig it. "would you love me if i were a snail/fish-like creature" is going to overtake the worm scenario art without thinking....yes, yes...that is something i've been telling myself for WEEEEEKS! my initial instinct is to feel unworthy of creating art because i'm not good at drawing, painting..the whole nine yards!! so weird. wonder where that belief came from.
yikes those are some intense dreams
luv to see it melitta!
