Born Free Prepper Thailand Homestead
United Kingdom
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 15 พ.ค. 2020
Hi There
Welcome to our channel. Please subscribe and follow the building of our homestead in Thailand. We started the project on the 6th May 2020 during the Coronavirus outbreak lock down.
We are just working class people doing a 9 to 5 job. It's going to be a three year project so there are going to be many things to do along the way.
We live in the UK and have our family over in Thailand to help us make this happen.
Thank you and stay safe in these fragile times.

Thanks mate ❤❤
where are you based? i’m on the Khon Kaen / Udon Thani border.
I live in Buriram so I'm quite far away from you. All the best mate 😁🙏
Best to use glass to brew to avoid plastic leaching . 👍 perfect way to repurpose 🍺 glass bottles , well done !
Yes they give you money for glass bottles over here as well when you recycle them. 👍🤣🙏
Wow what a feast of food & booze 🍺
Yes the total bill was 800 bhat less than £20 and the quality was very good 👍👍❤️🙏
new sub thank you for sharing the video
Thanks for the sub. I hope you enjoy my videos ❤️🍀👍🙏👌
hi mate going home Monday night, great to catch up with you see you when I get back in October. 👍
Thanks mate for the invite. Hope you have a safe journey back and let me know when you come back again for a few 🍺❤️🍀👍🙏👌🇹🇭
Nice work . I brewed some wine from the apple and white grape juice from Big C in the same containers and it worked a treat. Enjoy 🍻
I’m hoping they will turn out ok. Still have to wait some time before I try it. Nice to hear that yours turned out fine. 👍👌❤️🙏🍀
Above the white fluffy clouds is what? Thailand is getting sprayed the same as the rest of us which is sad to see.
They don’t spray here where I’m at but I suppose they spray in different areas. But it can affect us all ❤️👌🙏
as a dutch expat(been living in New Zealand for 24 years, now Thailand is the end station),I can't say that the penalty given was a fair one and I do hope Spain will beat England (no offence,😉🙏)😂
I just hope it’s a good game and England wins a trophy as Spain has won so many ❤️🍀👌🙏
We had chemtrails last week I did a video on them and it has been cloudy for 7 days after.we have blue skies now but for how long, glad to see your rice is growing and you was one who I watched and with your videos inspired me to do the same thanks pal and keep the vids coming
I suppose that’s why you are getting more rain than us. Thank you for your kind words and I’m glad you’re living your dreams now. Your homestead is looking great keep up the good work mate. ❤️🍀🙏👍
That's cool. I've baked muffins(from a mix). I'll have to try the bread. Probably 1/2 a batch. My air fryer is very small.
Yes I used 500g of flour for that loaf so if you got a smaller air fryer use maybe 200g to test out your air fryer. Give it a go 👍❤️🙏
Thanks George. I look forward to trying this!
You’re welcome mate ❤️🙏
Tea total though your clearly getting results 👍
I hope I don’t get vinegar 👍❤️🙏😂
@@bornfreeprepperthailand If you do I hope its Sarsons!😋
@MarkDaviesThailand 😂😂😂
A shirt? Damn public opinion, its a sarong and scarf for me! 😂 Now then, great timing as I cannot abide sugary loaves no longer! We need data George: recipe…how hot…how long etc. 🙏
I think I will do that on my next bread making video as I think my bread making is a bit better now 😂 yes I agree with you the bread here is too sweet for me too. 👍❤️🙏👌
Living the great life❤.
That’s for sure thanks mate 👍🇹🇭❤️🙏
Thank you I appreciate the shirt
It’s wasn’t that hot today so ❤️🙏
I come from a cold climate. I’ve been in Asia for the last five months. I have a shirt every day your just a whingeing Pom
I've not seen those containers that size before. Did you buy them locally or online?
I brought them from an online shopping service called Lazada here in Thailand 🇹🇭👍❤️👍🙏
can't wait for the end result! 🙏💪
Me to I might end up with vinegar or wine 😂👌❤️👍🍀🙏
Your homebrew is looking very good. I've been brewing since I was about 10, learning from my Dad when he would stink out the airing cupboard with it. I have about 5 gallons of cider sitting bubbling away and I'm going to try my first passion fruit wine this evening. Watching your first brewing video you were right to hold back on the sugar. For my method I use an empty 6 litre water bottle, the kind you get from Makro or Lotuss. I simply use juice from the store; Aro apple juice is the cheapest in Makro, but Tipco has a better flavour. Add 3 litres first, then 500g of sugar and shake until the sugar is dissolved. Add the rest of the juice. I use Lalvin EC-1118 champagne yeast as it can handle the warmer temperatures and goes higher in alcohol but doesn't introduce other flavours. To let the gas off I leave the top loose, or you can use cling film and elastic band. 2 weeks for the primary ferment, then a further 2 weeks before bottling in IKEA Korken 1 litre bottles. Let me know if you have any questions. Always make a starter for your yeast, not to get it started, but to check that it does start. I've had some dodgy packets of yeast that did nothing.
Thank you for your tips and suggestions. I have taken a lot of notes as you are brewing in the same country. I fancy a go at making cider so when I get more experience then I will have a go. I’ve got a lotus near me so I will look out for the apple juice. I’m using the Lalvin EC-1118 yeast as well which was just luck ❤️👍👌🙏🍀 do you have to add some sugar to the bottle once you bottle it? 🙏
@@bornfreeprepperthailand No you don't, it will develop some fizz, but may take longer.
@Knight8365 Thanks for the advice. I will just bottle it maybe in 10 days and how long should you leave it before drinking? You started to brew when you was 10 bet you had a few sips then ❤️👍🙏 thank mate hope your wine turns out good 👍
Always something new to try will try this at some point love mangoes
Try it when you have too many mangoes to eat during the season. Thanks for watching ❤️🙏👌👍🍀
Thanks George. It looks delicious, I shall give it a go!
@MarkDaviesThailand Very easy to make make sure you cut up the ginger with the skin on as that contains the yeast. Thanks for watching mate 👍❤️🙏👌
Good job
Thanks for watching 👍❤️🙏
Did you take the skin off the ginger first before you fermented it? Or is the yeast on the skin?
No you have to leave the skin on because that contains the natural Yeast. Hope you make some 👍❤️🙏
@@bornfreeprepperthailand I will let you know when I do. It's not warm enough here where I am to grow the ginger. So I got to get to the store.
@misst1586 Yes great give it a try you can do it with any sweet fruits or berries. Like blackberries which are free to forage 👍👌🍀🙏
Hope it's a great crop 🎉
Thanks mate 👍🙏❤️
Bullshit, it’s to hot
I’m the naked Chef 😂🤣😅🙏
12 rai in by tractor/contractor. Maybe tomorrow hand transplanting an experimental rai: brown rice! Good to see the rain this week!
That’s a lot off work mate. Hand planting is back breaking work that I’m not used to. Brown rice seems very interesting. Hope it all goes well Bro 👍🙏❤️
Try and grow 🍍🍍 pineapple 😁
I have 2 pineapple plants here on the homestead. But they are not growing for some reason 🙏❤️👍
Delicious real food natural flavours. Just the best healthy probiotic drink ever ! Experiment with veggies, mixers - 🥕 & ginger , beets etc 😊
Thank you will do ❤️🙏👌
❤ 🥥 🥥
👏 the Farmstead has come along way . Great memories on the look back of the before and now enjoy the after .
Yes it’s been a dream of ours for a long time. We are now living it 🙏❤️👌

Too hot in the tropics…
@MarkDaviesThailand Yes people don’t understand that it’s hot here. If I put a shirt on here I need aircon 👍🙏👌❤️
