Reading the book at the moment, get the impression that Andy is sensitive and very self critical which are not traits that make superstardom a fun experience. I haven’t listened to Troublegum in 20 years, just tied too much to being a teenager… however I prefer Infernal Love and Semi Detached more anyway and got both on vinyl for Christmas. I hope for Andy that he does not feel like TG is a rock to keep pushing up a hill and that they got control back of their own stories. It’s a disgrace for all the indigenous interesting music of all genres coming out of Ireland that Therapy? have not been welcomed back to celebrate their entire history. Also Kerry King is a notorious gaping arsehole. I think even Tom Araya cannot stand him!

R.I.P Paul Dianno. I remember buying Killers in 1982 at the age of 14 and being blown away by it. It's still my favourite Maiden album to this day despite their extensive discography.

Great interview. Love Therapy? and will always see them when they come round my way. Great to hear they are progressing a new album, always look forward to new material from them. Shame some bands were a bit shitty with them about the bill. I was at that gig. Imo Therapy? were and still are worthy of that position on the bill.

Paul was too ill to perform; he looked really poorly here. He didn’t do himself any favours by being on the road. Going around the world in his condition was asking for trouble, as getting pneumonia in Mexico proved. Sepsis is not something you’d jet around the world with. Sadly, it seems like he didn’t have a financial choice, and he wasn’t one to sit and brood. His mental health was of great concern, but playing live helped him emotionally. At the end of the day, Paul made those choices, and he knew the risks. Rip, Paul.
