Wonderful! Such an adorable interpretation! It's so sweetly played - maybe a little bit too soft. I think during the parts in fortissimo it should seem like something is exploding that your heart is breaking, but will be smoothed in the following part. But who am I for critizising such a talented clarinettist! It really is a gift, that he has uploaded it for us all. Thank you so much!😊
Most people like the reording they have heard first time, but this is one way to listen at the music, only ! There are a lot of facettes YOU can hear in a piece ! I love this peace in Case of personal memories, I played it with a woman I loved at the time and I was looking for a recording, which do me touch mostly : And my favorite is played and recorded by Michel Collins with a singing tone !
He has a beautiful phrasing so he is in control all the time, he doesn't need to explode and open his sound to achieve climax points

If anyone's interested, I did a short analysis of this recording here: th-cam.com/video/KZrwokiP1JI/w-d-xo.html Apparently the recording is from the Stamford Symphony in 1989 and it's therefore safe to assume that it was recorded on cassette tape, thus explaining how the recording got sped up and raised by almost a half step in pitch.
