I'm a talented above average chess player who plays for the poetry of the game.

I strongly dislike system players and players who just want to reduce a tiny advantage to a single pawn, queen it and then lazily chase you round the board. Or set you up for a specific trick that they have memorized.

That's not chess. It's not even intelligent.

Chess is inspiration, poetry, chess is science and it is art. Chess is beauty. Chess is imagination burning in the gifts of battle!
