If they were as drunk as described, they wouldn't have much quality plans, nor physically able to out-run posse for very far. So, I vote "Tall Tale". Seems like half or more of the lawmen were close to bad as the outlaws, so I'm guessing they all had it pretty, but outlaws are usually troubled people to start with and they dont get much rest until dead. I'll give to the outlaws with a measure of understanding and little to no sympathy. I don't believe in disturbing the dead for anything but solving a crime and bringing peace to the living. That's just asking for bad juju! Nice video!

Even though I do not drink, Bass Reeves. He operated out of the same city I am from. He is a very interesting person. I bet both lawmen and outlaws were on pretty equal footing. I doubt lawmen back then had to follow the same rules as law enforcement today. I would enjoy seeing you do something on Bass and Judge Parker's court in Ft. Smith Arkansas. They didn't call him the "Hanging Judge" for nothing.
