Did you find the CTX 3030 too heavy and did it wear your arm out or soreness in the shoulder or elbow. Thinking about getting one.

Subscribed :) Enjoyed the video, it was cool with the aerial shots and find points added to it, ctx 3030 is quite an awesome machine, you did a great first hunt, nice first find and then the ring, you got off to a tremendous start, very pleased for you. I am going out tomorrow with my whites m6 we have had 40 mph winds with as ring tide today so am gonna have a shot at the beach tomorrow. Look forward to more videos, the book gold beneath the waves looks good, the California beaches one is good too but I am in England , I like Gary Draytons books, he has a great blog too on beach hunting, check it out. Rusty do you post on TNET? I just bought a CTX 3030. The first week I had it I pulled a 10k ring out of a park and then 5 silver rings. Not to mention a lot of coinage.. HH GFP

Great first day out and nice video. Keep digging and looking for treasure! Im not near the coast but just got back from a beach vacation that yielded a ton of coins and one .925 ring. Too much fun!

Isn't your first ring find just something awesome??? I still remember mine, a beautiful diamond engagement ring (14 diamonds) 14k. I tried to find the owner but when I found it, it was 4" down in some really hard packed soil so I'm thinking it's been there many moons. I hope you are still enjoying the hobby. We started about the same time. I absolutely love it and can't get enough of it. Have health issues so after a 3-4 hour hunt I'm cactus for three days. But still smiling as I watch videos like yours and hundreds of others. All the best from sunny Perth Western Australia. HH&GL Chris.

Great video. Sure like the map system.I have a scoop just like yours and was going to break it in down at a Houston beach ,but there was a seed weed problem and you could not get in the water all along the beach. Keep up the good videos and good luck,

Rusty, I really enjoy your videos! They're very well done. You got some great first finds! I've been working with my AT Pro 6 months and not 1 ring for me yet. Not the detectors fault BUT...I just got my CTX 3030 yesterday and watched your setup video first, I think I'll pick up one of those gopro cam's like you use. I think its great that you're doing a video diary! Hopefully tomorrow I'll be out with mine, I wont be beach hunting till e take a weekend to the beach, 80 miles from pdx.HH

Never went that route unfortunately! I bet you have some great stories. I just got my CTX 3030 yesterday, by now hopefully you've had great finds with yours? I just started 6 months ago after retiring and love it. I was using my AT Pro but bless my loving wife's heart she got me this for a reg. gift!

Wow!!! A CTX for your first machine. Im waiting on mine to be delivered today! Been using an Excal2 and Etrac, so not new to Minelab and setup. Cannnot wait for beach detecting Monday!

That looks like an incredible machine. I've owned a Safari for about 2 years now and love it. I would have bought the Etrac but I have a Mac and it's not compatible so I opted for the Safari. The CTX 3030 just blows my mind though with how far advanced Minelab's vision is. Good luck to you and all other lucky souls that own a CTX 3030. Happy hunting to you all.

Nice video. I currently own a whites DFX, and a V3i. Both of which are very nice machines. After seeing that the ctx3030 allows you to mark and save the spots where you find good targets, and can view them on google maps, the ctx really peaked my interest. I have only ever owned whites machines, and I was wondering how much you like the ctx3030. Are you happy with the performance it offers? Would you recommend buying one from your experience with it? Thanks a lot.

I don't have anything to compare it to but for the few times I've gone out I've had a blast. Seems like one of those things that it's easy to use but a little harder to use it well. Good luck and have fun. This part was easy.

Thanks schill13. I hate it that I have not been out but twice but I did hit the beach the other day. Screwed up the shots so I'm going out again and just going to combine the two. Same beach.
