We have been recognized as a centre of excellence by FPID, USA, and Jeffrey Modell Foundation. In this video, Dr. Sagar Bhattad highlights the challenges and the key steps taken to achieve this feat.

Hi sir, my daughter has dermatocytis with no muscle weakness. Can this be cured fast
Thank you sir.
It needs a separate appetite to take that risk, of choosing a new field and to flourish in it too. As with auto immune disorders, since we are battling with different treatments before we even realize it is because of a body's own rejection response , the anxiety of a parent and multiple specialists trying to give their solutions, visits to different doctors. But if we are lucky enough to meet someone like you at first, it would definitely be a bullseye 🎯. If there is any video you could make on understanding faster, about if a child or someone is going through an auto immune disease, itll be really helpful to take those key signals from our body reaction and help us visit an immunologist specialist like you faster. This may be a generic question but see if there's an answer you can provide in your way 😊
Thank you, Neeraja, for your valuable and insightful comments. I have prepared a few videos on various autoimmune diseases that can affect children - Arthritis, SLE, Kawasaki disease, etc. These videos are available on TH-cam. Will try making a few more, highlighting early warning signs for parents to pick up. Thanks again, for your suggestions

Is it ok to give steroids to a 1yr old who is having atopic dermatitis? We can really see improvements after the doctor suggested us to give a betnesol tablet in a dilution with water in a spoon. Are there any serious side effects? What could be the long term side effects?
Steroids can be given for atopic dermatitis. However, if prolonged steroids are necessary, it is better to use other medications called steroid sparing agents or immunomodulators. Your dermatologist would guide you
Wow excellent.. Great video tq doctor❤

Thanks sir, my wife is suffering from CVID from last one year and suggested for IVIg therepy. Is there any other alternate treatment available in India becouse IVIg therepy is very expansive solution. Please guide us. Thanks in advance.
At present, IVIG is the only solution. Some companies are launching subcutaneous immunoglobulins and that may be administered at home. Bactrim/septran prophylaxis would also help

What should be proper weight at age of 5 yr n 11 month old boy.??n if the food intake of kids is low...what should we do to increase. My boy having wt 14 to 15 kg right now.n he is now entering in 6th yr.
Weight depends on several factors. On an average, a 6y Indian child would weigh 18kg, however, 15 kg is not very low. Height is more important. If a child is gaining adequate height, long standing illness is unlikely
My daughter keep getting fever week after week, sometimes monthly twice . What can be done

This could be repeated viral fevers, which should get better. If too frequent, you may check with your child specialist to conduct immunity tests

BMT can cure XLA and after successful BMT, one can stop IVIG. However, the standard of care worldwide is monthly IVIG infusions.
