Hello and Welcome! This channel is dedicated to trail riding, camping with horses, obstacle course riding, driving single and in pairs, and pretty much anything horse related. I hope that all my fellow equestrian TH-camrs will give me a like and subscribe. Thanks for checking out my channel.
Gus and Idgie in the evening.
We had a wonderful drive last night even though it ended with a flat tire on the Frontier cart. I guess I’ll bite the bullet and get solid tires. I’m already sick of flats. Seems like I get one every time I go out.

2024 4th of July Parade in Canyon, Tx

Cookie and Idgie were a big hit for spectators of the parade. This is Idgie’s 2nd parade and Cookie’s 1st. I was so impressed and proud of both of them but Cookie really won my heart today with how calm and relaxed she stayed throughout the loud noise of the fire trucks, motorcycles, race cars, and screaming kids.

So much fun! What a beautiful day too.
Awww ❤❤ so cute, but that looks so fun tho!
@@Goofy_horselover Thank you!
Sounds like endurance riding is like any high level equestrian sport: takes a hirse that has the training & genetics. And might get hurt in the end as will most likeky happen when sustaining high performance levels. Thanks for that interesting no BS video.
@@fontainerouge you’re absolutely correct. Just like any equine sport, if you want to be competitive, you need to invest in the right horse, equipment, and training not only for yourself but the horse as well. Thanks for your comment and I’m glad you enjoyed the video. 😊
Such cuties!!!! I can’t wait to get my Mini under harness!
@@francymarvel695 Thank you! It sure is a lot of fun.
They are so cute!!
@@francymarvel695 Thank you!!
Thanks for this, an honest take on endurance. You got further than me but I really felt my horse never signed up for the race part and me if I am honest. Just wanted to stop and take in the view and etc the ponies graze😂
love Pole Canyon rides!
Totally appreciate your candor.
Those aren't cows, they're moo-nsters
Ha ha, Idgie sure thought they were! 😂
Well expressed, thank you!
Good job on your review
Thanks. It was our first one. We hope to make future review videos better with more details.
Can you tell me how to upload my photos as we do the Virtual Tevis Cup Ride?
Let me do a little research. I’ve never added photos. I assume you are talking about on the profile where you input your miles?
As someone hoping to get into endurance riding, I really appreciate this vulnerable post.
Thank you!
I'm Australian. It's so cool to see how other people live.
Ruth was a pleasure to work with! Thank you for having me out! 🙂🦄
I’m already seeing an improvement in her mobility. Looking forward to having you back out next week.
Thank you ma’am my back’s been bothering me but i guess not anymore since this trick will be in use
Can you explain the clothesline clips? And how the pork ride works? When I was a kid you picked up cards in envelopes at each station to bring back.
I would like to put one on this summer for my saddle club
It’s a very similar concept. With this situation, you picked up a colored clothes pin to prove that you had made that check point. Then you turned in all the pins at the end to receive your “draws” for poker cards. The event coordinator did it this way so she only needed one deck of cards and one volunteer. It worked out perfectly.
@@tkranch4879 thank you for your time!
What breed is that?
They are Class B Miniature Horses.
Thank you. They are very cute!
So cute!
Oh wow that’s super cool!!
Looks like their doing pretty good to me 😃
Thank you! I was very pleased with how well they did.
What the heck is that
It’s a pair of miniature horse being trained to drive as a team for the first time.
