Ultimate Burton Step In Hack
มุมมอง 1.4K6 หลายเดือนก่อน
After using Burton Step In Bindings for 5 winters, I finally created this hack that I wish I did years ago. The motivation is the many days of deep powder we get here in the Sierra's in California. Back Country / Off Piste can be very dangerous on a snowboard if you cannot reach and release your bindings. This is especially a problem with the Burton Step In Bindings. So here is my hack

I like it, I would move the release levers to the inside.
For the people saying burton should do it, unfortunately, they might be late to the game because Clew patented that release system as far as I recall 😢
That’s amazing thanks for sharing.
Interesting. I’m sure Burton is taking notes
Nice
You just killed your warranty.
The bindings are four years old, warranty is long gone . Regardless, I don’t care about the warranty. If I can make something better on any of my sports equipment, I don’t hesitate to do it.
How about showing us how you did it. Link what you used. Also I’ve seen this before several times so I wouldn’t say you came up with it.
legendary!
nice idea. seems like a good prototype burton should include as an accessory, (or if you're interested, create as an aftermarket others can purchase). Seems super useful for day to day riding!
actually brilliant
Relative Peter Folger surveyed the Island back in the beginning. Also Benjamin Franklin's Mother was a Folger also a relative.
Terrific vlog !
Thank you I really enjoyed seeing somewhere I shall never be able to see in person. (UK)
Great video! Like #2 Thank you very much for sharing! Greetings from Florida!
I was on Nantucket Island before it got built up 50 years ago. Nothing like that place.
Thanks for the tour and the beautiful views. I was interested in the working class history of Nantucket, so I'm disappointed to learn that the elites have bought most of the island. I had already known that was true of Martha's Vineyard. Thanks again for the beautiful and peaceful trip. 🍒
Next time I suggest you stay at the Jared Coffin House - EXPENSIVE but which I give it a 5 star- Peg V from NJ
Great. Thanks for this.
Love this place!
Hi, what time of year was this? I don’t see tourist and I’m in love.
April
Best place on earth
Do you ever go to Belmont Shores?
seldom
Are you from LA?
OC
Never heard about the version of what a widows walk was/is. People in Martha's Vineyard said it was the woman to watch the sea for the returning of their husbands whaling ship.
Great video. Would love to see a similar video about Martha’s Vineyard
who was dat chick @ the brewery? you ask her out for a ride?
seems overrun with the rich, with those mega yachts lined up in the harbor. imagine dealing with them in the restaurants?
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. My wife and I are planning a trip to Nantucket, Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard.
You also aren't pronouncing Sankaty right
You aren't pronouncing "Madaket" right
Brings a tear to my eye
Next time you go to Madaket and past the Ames Bridge be sure to check out the Crooked House on Mass ave. Fred Rogers' old vacation home.
It is built for bicycles rather than cars. That is the life.
Great video!! Too bad your auto translate was soo off, owned a business there for 10 years. My happy place. ‘Sconset is so calm and peaceful. Happy to here Something Natural still sell the “Shelia’s Favorite”, one of my first stops...
Lovely video. Thank you for sharing.
excellent video- Thank You
Thank You - the moped ride makes a whole of differences for us viewers!
Who’s filming other than your filming from bike?
I would love to go there.
Can’t wait to start exploring again! Thanks for the wonderful inspiration!
Imagine having a house on Nantucket. It's too bad most people cannot afford it these days. :(
LOVE THIS! I used to visit every summer with my family in the 1960s. It is still so much the same! Great to see. Thanks for the memories. I remember the Uncateena ferry boat, though, used to take 3-4 LOUD hours from Falmouth to get to Nantucket.
I live in Manasquan NJ across from beach...Get more house for the money there..
I honeymooned on Nantucket Island August 1989. It was magical. In all my travels, there was none other like it. We were at a little B&B and rented a double-seat moped. The Whaling Museum was fascinating. We wandered around a cemetery. We saw tombstones of the captains that had their beautiful oil portraits handing on the museum walls. If my memory serves me correctly, the Spanish Flu of 1918 hit the island hard. Many tombstones had 1918 as the year of death. I was hoping to make my way back there by myself summer 2021, but I read about the travel restrictions of doing a 14-day quarantine before being allowed on the island or paperwork to show proof of a negative COVID test within 72 hours prior to going to the island. I just watch the videos now. I don't think my dream of returning will ever happen now.
Don't give up on your dreams please.
keep those 1989 memories as it was much more fun back then.
It's not too late.
Thank you for posting. It was very nice to tour a place I’ve never been and live vicariously.

@@RobRoyAdventures thank you. good to know this
Are you able to rent vehicles? Cost?
I did not rent a car but if you do a Google search a number of rental options come up on the island.
@@RobRoyAdventures thank you so much. Enjoyed your video so much. !! From Western NC
Love this thank u
