Animals have such an amazing internal clock and it would be so cool if we could actually read their minds when they are waiting for a daily event like this. When I was about 6 our family found a lost black lab mix puppy and we took her in. She had two litters(one of 10 and one of 11) during her lifetime and in her later years always walked me to the store off leash(before leash laws) and stopped at every red light and knew when it turned green. Every single day when I walked home from school she would wait on the front porch and when she saw me ran about a half of a block to greet me. One day she just disappeared so I'm not sure if she was hit by a car or just went off to die. I certainly missed my Penny for quite a while.

Umm, it doesn't look like he wanted Jonathan. Give Jonathan a smell and then ran right past him. I think he wanted dad. Or whoever was at the door when the camera cut out. Nice try, but you should have cut the camera out a few seconds sooner.

My kitty knew what time I came home from work and would always happily greet me too. She died 3 years ago, I miss her so much. Animals are a true gift.

I was wondering why the dog went upstairs as soon he seen the boy came home from school..until I realized that the boy was heading to his room...very intelligent dog ...simply wow

i know the time and i have wathes but im always late for school.

Quickly runs upstairs (as if to say, no I wasn't waiting with baited breath for your arrival) and comes down only when called. How utterly cute. In truth, he couldn't contain his excitement and had to run upstairs for fear of exploding from all the joy he was bursting with to see/smell his best bud at the door.
