How and what did you make the sprew out of
I made it with a 3-d printer but you could make it using pretty much anything. If you really wanted to you could do it without the sprew and drill it out using a step down bit. Or you could carve one out of wood.

Have you tried using a 2"x4" rectangular pvc 1foot long & cutting it in 4" long sections. this will make three 4 jig molds. Cut 4 slots in 4" side down 1.25" for the hook shafts, this will allow you to intially put playdo on the bottom .75" thick on first pour. Then once set flip remove playdo & pour other side.
I have been using a bondo mold to make 3oz sinkers for several years. It holds up very well.

While tubular pvc pipe works just fine. You can heat pvc pipe with a hair dryer or heat gun, etc. To the point, you can easily reshape it into a square, or rectangular shaped pipe!

It's still going strong I have stood in it several times. I fish bridge pillars a bunch for crappie .

Would making a bondo mold like this work for soft plastics as well?
I use fiberglass resin instead of Bondo for soft plastics because it's thinner and easier to use because it flows into the small crevices easier. I've got a video on my channel showing me using an open pour mold that I made from fiberglass resin and in the future, I'm going to do a video on how I make those.

I printed two halfs an glued them together.
