We tow our Jayco Crosstrak through a couple of water crossings to Sandy Creek in Litchfield National Park. We set up base camp and then head down the Reynolds 4x4 Track to Surprise Creek Falls. We also check out Blythe Homestead and Sandy Creek Falls. A great little weekend trip from Darwin.

Part 3 of our Lorella Springs adventure and we've come to a halt at a water crossing. Do we risk taking the Jayco Crosstrak across when there is no one to help if we get stuck? Does the Hilux have enough power to tow up the slippery slope? How many bogholes will we get stuck in? Our Jayco Crosstrak in Cooinda Lodge was basecamp for a weekend trip to Kakadu National Park. It's wet season and there were big storms both nights but the day brought on incredible waterfalls including Motorcar Falls & Boulder Creek falls, lots of wildlife and Barramundi fishing on Home & Yellow Water Billabongs! It was the best & first of many weekend trips to the Kakadu now we live in Darwin!

Nick has had MW Toolbox build a canopy and has fit it out himself. We review our new touring canopy decked out with: BCF drawers, Bushman upright fridge, ARB compressor, 120amp lithium battery and monitor shunt from iTech World, a home built pantry plus more!

A weekend away at our friends property - perfect spot to take the Jayco Crosstrak and cook up a meal on the fire. Did our "winging" it pay off? We've installed a little 2 kva diesel heater into our Jayco Crosstrak to keep us warm and toasty during the winter months when we're off-road. We just bought a cheap one online and Nick installed it himself.
