The Cottage Shop & Tearooms, is situated in the picturesque and historical village of Loughmore, Co. Tipperary, in a stone cottage which dates back to the 1700's. In it's original state, it is like stepping back in time to another era in Ireland, where life was simpler and people had time to chat and sit a while. The Shop & Tearooms is a Community Co-Operative, ;based on the Plunkett Model, and is the first of it's kind in Ireland. The tearooms provides a warm and welcoming haven for every customer, where you can sit,chat and enjoy wholesome food and locally baked confectionery. It won the BEST TEAROOMS IN IRELAND, Irish Times award in 2014. This Co-Operative Model has the ability to change the face of rural Ireland.
