Mongrels late, high hit on Ellery Hanley cost the Tigers the 88 grand final. He wasn't fit to carry Brett Kenny or Wally Lewis's kitbag. Made a career seagulling off other players line breaks. Massively overrated

Different era, lots of beer, hitting hard was normal and mateship was the key. I do remember he gives as much as he gave .... there are many times he smack someone but i suspect he hardly remembers anything he did that was bad

Not a Bulldog's fan but in 1984 I was at Belmore to see Dogs V Dragons, my Aunty was a guest because she worked high in HFC finance, their top sponsor. Anyways I was invited into the dressing room after play and I must say Terry Lamb was the nicest guy there. I was only 9 at the time and still remember it today.

I remember when he broke Ellery Hanley's jaw in the grand final and later scored a try from an offside position he was obviously given a blessing on the day to do what he wanted blatantly getting away with it. Rugby league after this day was never the same

One of the all time greats 164 tries from a five eight is just insane played in an era with wally Lewis and Brett Kenny lamb was up there with the best. Lamb officially retired after winning the 95 grand final but changed his mind in the off season to play one final year to help the club out in 96 always put his club first champion bloke.

I’ve completely reviewed my opinion of this guy. Always thought he was a grub of a player, but the man is humble and self reflective and I do have to admit he was an absolute champion of a player - can’t think of anyone quite like him. Tough - like Tommy, but smarter, better player. That’s why I love these retrospective interviews - love it

I’ve heard a few ppl say similar things. He was my idol growing up but I love him even more due to his humble side post playing career.

@@davidnewman690 god the passion of being supporter when your younger. The Dogs beat my Easts in ‘80 when I was maybe 14. It was like a death in the family. Gutted and depressed for weeks. Hated the dogs after that. As an older gentleman now, just love all these retrospective interviews regardless who they are. Epic teams and battles back then
