    I've always wondered how you find people that want to act in these types of videos. People feel you press their ankle, it doesn't do anything but they just know they should play along? So strange.

    Thanks for the video, I just painted over carpet glue on a patio. The glue was probably 50 years old and it was like a full layer of rubber and impossible to get up without heavy machinery. It turned out pretty good and we'll see how it holds up. I figure if it peels it won't be that hard to repaint or touch up. I'm going to put a polycrylic top coat on it to help with durability.

    jonathan frakes in the episode where he plays both commander and lieutenant riker makes a comment about this technique. "is that some form of tai chi chuan" Because the mok'bara is modeled after that for star trek tng to use. which i think is extra cool. where as in classic trek william shatner holds rank in american kenpo and had done some with judo. so those were used in that series. its cool to see how shows use martial arts.

    Hey Sensei. I’ve been revisiting my Kyusho lately. I saw how you healed him. You moved in the direction of the meridian. Yang=towards the head. I’ve been doing this wrong. Ive been moving down the arm, then popping the fingers. Or is that way ok too?? Also. On intent. Do you use visual imagery or do you just tell yourself, “I’m going to hurt him”. I sometimes overthink, and get hung up on stuff like visualizing. How would you overcome this hurdle?

    • @SenseiMish
      @SenseiMish ปีที่แล้ว

      Healing - You can do it both ways, kind of. In the video, and normally, I will rub in the direction the energy flows, this is to get the energy flowing again. On the LI line, it flows up the arm toward the head. However, I was hit very hard on this point over the weekend, and the person who healed it focused on the point and drew it down the arm to the hand. It was an awesome experience because I actually felt the pain move from the point, and slowly dissipate as it got closer to my wrist. This is actually drawing the blocked energy away from the point. Getting over your hurdle - Keep an objective mind. Simpler said than done, I know. Neutral thought can actually overcome anger or happiness, which is an added bonus. Honestly, I don't really want to hurt anyone, but you have to keep in mind it is sometimes necessary, whether for training or self-defense. Plus not using negative emotions will also keep your uke safer and not lead you to being seduced by the dark side of the force, like it did for Darth Vader.

      @Jameskeith1972 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SenseiMish 😂 great response. I love the Vader jokes. I was just listening to a story of how Luke finds these books that obi wan wrote and left to him about the Dark Side and Vader. Thanks for the lesson. I really really appreciate it!!🙏🙏🙏❤️

    ❤ I’m happy for you brother man! Your prayers have been answered. Good things are coming to all of us. I know that’s true. I’ve attended a Jim Corn Seminar live on TH-cam. Maybe y’all were there too. I follow a couple of other groups online and we all tend to converge at times don’t we?? Can’t wait till that day you can do your Spock thing on me! I’d love to know what that’s like!!

    So wtf is he specifically doing? Nerve manipulation or something having to do with blood flow to the brain or a combination of both or neither. Someone tell me!

    • @SenseiMish
      @SenseiMish ปีที่แล้ว

      Partially it's nerve manipulation, different pressure points affect the body differently. It's fun to play with points.

    I just wanted to say, thanks for this! I was playing Captain's Log, a solo Star Trek RPG, and I had I rolled up an NPC Klingon diplomat character who had some training in Mok'bara, and wanted to have a classic gym sparring scene with my player character and the NPC, so this helped me figure out a bit of what it might look like.

    There is also a book licensed through Paramount titled "Secret Fighting Arts of the Warrior Race, Volume 1: betleH yIqel", ostensibly written by HetaQ DogwI', but also by Sifu Tom Twohy and Chet Braun. I saw it in a used book store several years back when my body still let me compete and I was hungry for new knowledge in the martial arts.

    • @SenseiMish
      @SenseiMish ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, the book was not licensed and when Paramount found out about the book, they ordered the publisher to destroy all the copies. Of course, there were many copies that survived, but the bulk of them did not.

    I have everything tied together. I start with the hands. I flip the hand based on polarity. Ex. Palm up = - or yin I wiggle my thumb and say Metal out loud. Flip it over(palm down=yang), wiggle my index and say large intestine out loud. Keep going and it’s tricky for heart and small intestine but it’s easy for me because it’s Fire by default anyway. That’s me. The feet are a bit more tricky. I just remember it this way. Stomach runs down the whole body and down the leg over the knee, Fire down. It’s water up for bladder that’s up the back of the leg. Triple yin is on the inside and that leaves GB on the outside. GB31 is my favorite point! So using favorite points tends to help out too. I use this to remember the 24 diurnal also. Just by going off of polarity again. Lung and Large I are the first two (metal)on the chart, and they are from 3-5am. This is the time when most people wake up from a dream or have to pee, let the dog out, etc. using a common factor like this is breakfast time, lunch time, happy hour, etc. whatever. Even if you don’t do these activities at this time, but use a standard that the majority of people use. These routines and habits will have a huge contribution to the effectiveness of your Kyusho. I also had to re learn all of this stuff for old school Dim Mak courses that I took, so that really drove it home. 😂 Ps. It’s constantly on going for us. Always reviewing is the best way. I’m sure I screwed something up in my dissertation 😂. It’s these mistakes that REALLY help us to improve.

      I ended up doing two coats. There were some spots where the glue was thick and broke through the paint when I stood on the spot too long, but I ended up putting down a thin sheet of plastic where the mats went, in case the glue stuck to the mats.
