Sucks I wanted state to hire the JMU coach before lebby. He has only lost 8 games since 2019 and all of his losses have been by one score..Indiana hired him now Indiana is 3-0 with a blowout win over UCLA. Indiana was in worse shape than state and it’s an overall worse football program..So lebby doesn’t get any excuses other first year coaches with worse teams are winning games..Even deion inherited a 1-11 colorado team and won 4 games..It appears lebby just isn’t a good head coach so far but hopefully year two is better. Our AD made a mistake there were wayy better coaches available if lebby gets fired he should as well.

Landon, we are in year 1 and we need at least 3 recruiting classes to be even in the 6 win range. It is what it is.

I don’t wanna be a complete downer because I love state football and the state fans. Atleast we get 5 opportunities to upset a top 10 team. Who knows maybe texas plays like they did last year vs Wyoming and state wins🤷🏻‍♂️ So you should definitely show up and tune in to support our program..Atleast we get to play 5-6 playoff teams lots of exciting games left..If we can somehow win just one of those games i’ll be super happy.

I think they’re gonna be forced to fire lebby by the end of the year because none of these SEC games are gonna be close it’s gonna be like 70-0 every week. The boosters and people funding aren’t gonna continue supporting if lebbys getting blown out every saturday and unable to score points..If im the AD i’m firing lebby and hiring the texas state head coach while I can..Or Mullen..I’d give lebby until early November to show something..

That running back for ASU only had 4O yards on wyoming and averaged 4 yards a carry.. He put 270 on us.. Yeh worst State defense in 3 decades..The DTs and LBs are to small and can’t tackle physical RBs..Imagine what Texas and Ole miss are gonna do to us..I’m curious why lebby used the portal so much for the Offense but didn’t bring in some better DTs DEs and LBS. The defense is so bad and it falls on Lebby..I think toledo beats us as well..😕

State is awful 😂😂. Idk why y'all thought Dline would be ok. They got 2 .84 3 star dlineman out of the portal and they both start.

Is it just me or did our defensive line and LBs not look so great?? And the secondary struggled at times..I’m more of a defensive guy and to me our defense looks questionable..It’s so weird because our defensive line even looked smaller than previous years..I’m not worried bout the offense but sheesh we could get scorched on defense. Idk tho I always over react lol

Landon, we have 2 years in a row this schedule and our chances to get to 7-8 wins are near zero. What we need to see is progress. Thats all what matters. We have to show recruits that they can go from State to the NFL.

Im trying to be enthusiastic but im very concerned..Im a defensive guy and for the first time in awhile im genuinely worried about the defensive line and LB core.

This is the game i had in mind for upset alert. 2 reasons ... i will be at the game all the way from Germany and 2nd i think Mizzou is not deep enough to play a consistent good season without any flaws. They lost to many on defense and on top of that their DC. 31-21 Dawgs

There is the defending Champ Bama and UGA. Ole Miss dont had and have it what it takes to beat either of them. So is Mizzou. Texas ... we have to waite and see how they can handle the SEC gauntlet but i putt them in as a contender. LSU will not be there in 24 but never count out the bayou bengals. Vols have a rookie QB who nobody knows what he will do against the real big boys. Good team but no contender. Oklahoma will be there in 2-3 years, i trust Venables enough to get it done with the Sooners. A&M needs time to get the Jimbo mess sorted out. What Elko did at Duke was very impressive, but ACC aint no SEC. Aggies --- Dark Horse

TN just lost Jourdan Thomas the DB for the season with an knee injury. That will not help that thin secondary. 9-3 for the season and a W against State
