Mate this Storm Smashed through the Flinders and there was Hardly to no Warning Either! I couldnt record it because it was too dangerous but the road started to Flood and going past massive road trains they sprayed the Lux with Red Dirt ! I had to get my family to book me accomodation in Port Augusta as the reception kept dropping in and out and there was no where else to go! It makes it hard to plan your movements when the weather up there is unreliable! Sounds good to me mate 🍻

@@knockedloose4x4 can be pretty unpredictable. We didn't know it was coming either. Cut our trip short. Would have been funny if we'd stayed in Quorn as we would have run into you again. Stickers are on the patrol mate. What other merchandise do you have,might grab something at some stage

@@IanGreen-ir6ww I was Speaking to the Lady who runs the moolooloo station and she said its hard to organise stuff up there because its so unpredictable! Yeah you would of 100% bumped into me at Quorn, i stayed in that area for a few days! but as i was filming the Port Augusta Bridge in this episode a bloke recognised my car all the way from the start of my journey at Wilpena Park ( Part 1 of the episode ) and we got chatting for a good 45min about both our adventures ! You truly meet amazing people out there ! Aye thats a honour to hear that mate, unfortunately we arent doing Merch atm as Shaedyn and my self are focusing more on the film side of KL4x4 as Merch takes up soooo much time ! BUT ill keep you Posted with any updates !!

It Defiantly helps having a 4WD as the road is very uneven and harsh ! but i would say most of the places i visited in the Flinders Ranges a 2wd could get to if your willing to push it and dont mind the odd stone chip here and there ! The Ferguson, Blinman hut and Artimore ruins are the only places i went to that you need a 4WD ! Just make sure you have some good tyres as the rocks there are really sharp and you drive on old river beds! i would highly recommend a tyre deflator/ puncture repair kit. Bring heaps of water as there seriously minimal out there or your paying for it $$

Yeah mate we were going to let the tyres down but we worked out the hoist would be just high enough so i didnt need to, but had the deflater on standby 🤣

Haha i cant believe i caught the EMUs falling face first on the road in Part 1! I saw Plenty of Emus, Kangaroos and even wild Goats up In the Flinders Ranges. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to visit this beautiful area of South Australia

Sorry for the Late reply mate. yeah you would but your going to be over hanging heaps and youll wont be able to open your canopy doors up all the way. Personally i think your going to be too heavy on one side if you add the 270 awning ! Later on im going to buy 2x 180 degree awning and mount them on the cab to help even the weight out.

Cheers mate 😃When im going in and out of the RTT i tuck the mesh under my sleeping bag so i crawl on that not the mesh so i minimize the risk of ripping the mesh! l personally liked the doors hanging from the top down, not the other way around for this reason. 😅

Not at all mate just make sure you have good all terrain tyres as the rocks are really sharp and bring heaps of fuel and water as its quite remote out here

Nice work Men . The GU Ute sounds like it needs a different turbo to spool up earlier to get the 37s spinning off the line in 2nd or 3rd in the mud or try 2 high 1st

@@stevenperry4632 it’s a almost factory motor with factory turbo, diff gears, injectors etc etc… 98kw. She’s slow and not powerful, but it does good enough where I’m not gonna spend thousands for more power!
