it’s called Loc’d in Beauty but the loctitian who does my locs just left the shop. I haven’t been to any other stylist there so I’m not sure how their work is.

266 locs & I use the interlocking method.
Really pretty and really long. That must have taken awhile. How many, if you don't mind me asking? That's a lot of hair, how long did it take to grow that long?

Yes, we have natural oil on our scalp called sebum and you don't really need oil on our scalp. I do think that it's ok to put oil on the loc itself, especially the ends bc depending on how quickly the sebum on your scalp produces, it can take days for it to actually move down the loc. I slowly stopped using oil on my scalp since I was experiencing dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. If you want to find an oil that won't clog your scalp pores research the comedogenic scale.

I just feel like it would be so time consuming on wash day😩
Honestly, locs have cut my wash time down by so much. I have really thick hair, so it would take me at least two hours to wash and blow dry my hair before locs. But now all I do is wash, oil my scalp, and go! It definitely depends on your hair type though.

I guessed between 200-250, because my first set of locs looked EXACTLY like yours, same length even, th-cam.com/video/yExmqO9abYs/w-d-xo.html before I cut them off and started all over again (they'd gotten too heavy, and I was going through a lot at that point in my life). Love your locs. Subbed.
