It was our first time visiting Indonesia and we wanted to do it in style! It was also our first trip following our year abroad. We used Luxury Escapes to find a deal that included accommodation at the Apurva Kempinski resort, breakfast each day and either lunch or dinner each day. We got a welcome drink and a free drink every happy hour. We even had transfers from the airport and free massages included. We couldn't recommend them enough. We had the best time relaxing by the pool all day and doing not much else!

We left Europe and headed to Japan on our way back home. We started in Osaka and made our way by train to Nara, Kobe, Kyoto, Mt Fuji, Tokyo, Hiroshima and finished up in the snow in Hakuba. Bratislava is so close to Vienna that is was just a hop, skip and a jump to get there with many transport options to choose from. We chose to catch. the ferry that took an hour and 30 mins from Vienna down the Danube and arriving shortly at Bratislava.
