Hi. Could you possibly drill/center punch a tiny tiny hole/trough in the end of the puller 'screw' so to have the axle points sit in it, eliminating all those centering re-dos ? What about all those hundreds (?) of coach/wagon wheel/axle sets ?!.. I'm a Yank, so maybe I don't know just how YOU Yank 'em ! 😜 Los Angeles, Ca. US HOer

I use a GW Models wheel puller for my conversions. To assist making more accurate adjustments I measured the pitch of the thread on my puller. The pitch was 1mm. This meant that each wheel need one complete turn to move the back to back from 14.5 mm to 16.5 mm. Easy!

how did you lower the ride height, and does it change how the loco handles curves/points etc.?

I don't have any model trains or anything, I just love this particular mode of train (class 37). It's the sound and look of my childhood. I want this exact setup, just something I can plug in, listen to and look at. I don't care if it does not move. It has to be weathered/dirty like this. It looks so realistic. This is perfection to me. Thank you so much for sharing. Can I buy something like this?

Brilliant instructional video. I am just going through he same process of converting to EM. I followed you when you had the O Gauge and was very impressed with your track modelling. Can I ask what make of baseboards do you use for your layout builds? I am looking at the Grainge and Hodder boards for my next modular build, which will be both EM and O gauge

That is how a deltic should look and the sound is one that i will never forget from countless hours at doncaster station as a youngster.

I do like this demo. "Legoman" has done a very good job of the sound project but I am not sure it is possible to recreate the awesomeness of an AL6 or AL7 where the traction motors hum as the loco gets under way. Heljan have done a great job of the livery, but I would have to have the yellow panel if I had one. Thanks for the demo

You have made a fantastic job of the weathering on that loco. Looks really great, and sounds pretty fantastic too. The only negative for me is the auto switching off of the cab lights whenever it moves. Although the "no cab lights" can be seen as correct if the loco were going out onto the main line on a train, if the loco was shunting around the yard, how on earth would the driver be able to read his newspaper whilst the secondman was doing the shunting ? ! ? ! Is it possible to manually override ? It is very nice and Bachmann have done a good job of the upgrade. I have four or five of the earlier version without lights. The sound is very good too. Thanks for the demo

A couple of (possibly obvious) questions: 1. Can the track still run? 2. Is there a possible/ easy way to then clean this track from time to time (dust-wise) to then get the train to run?
