Thanks for this video, Tom - it was very helpful to me, as I am working on getting a wide enough, even shed on my Leclerc Fanny loom. Main thing I have learned is that I have to push the treadle all the way down and hold it, lol - which means stepping on the treadle further up towards the tie up than I had expected. But thanks to your video, I may be able to increase the shed a bit with the tie up, the height of the beater, etc.

Thank you, it's so important that this knowledge about looms keeps going and passes on to the next generations

My trade in the textile industry started off at being a sectional warper. Quite different to this. The story I always tell, is of the longest warp I ever produced. The threads in the width of the warp were 1520. The number of pieces I managed to get onto the one beam, was 24. 75yd's per piece, total length 1800yd's on the one warp. Just over 1 mile long. 7 x 240 end sections, plus 1 at 80 ends.

Hi Allen. The first 46 years of my textile career was in industry where I experienced many different types of sectional warping. All considerably more highly engineered than what we have in hand weaving. All good experience and I enjoyed every bit of it :) TR

Thanks Tom for the share, just managed to ruin a long linen warp using a warping board, and have been scouring information on how best to convert this loom of mine into sectional warping. I shall be trying out your system. Warm regards

I must take back my comment. After working with Tom and giving him over 7,400 dollars and soon to be more I have found that he is a scam. I could have bought a new weavebird for the cost of the few parts and misguided advice I got.

surely the metal bar that is bending will stay bent making it unusable for the next warp that is put on

Hey Tom, your website is not functional. It looks like a cyber squatter has taken it over. Let me know when you get it sorted. I would like more info on this invention.
