Why does everyone assemble the body of the boost controller before putting that little hose on. Put the little hose on the top piece first, line up the body, cut the hose then slip it into the body fitting, then put the two screws into assemble it. No bending hoses or guess work
Do I need a new tune with the new boost controller?
I did mine by removing engine mount bolt and the pitch mount. Then lifted from trans. Easiest way for me.
Not to be nosey how much was the dyno and what requirements do you need?
Mine happen last night it’s raining and my pedal went soft and I adjust it and bleed it still the same
So the headers don’t need to come off. Everyone says they do. The heat shields at the very least do though
Great video I definitely went out of order with my 2019 wrx. Now I have to go back in and pull my cobb inlet to do this bcs install. Happy driving
NPT fittings they need TEFLON tape it will leak if you don't
I want to do something like this with my 2018 but I live in New York so I also want to keep the stock heat exchanger. What transfer plate work like how you first tried it, on top of the stock heat exchanger?
Can you bleed it from the master cylinder or is the only spot to bleed it at the slave cylinder?

How did you install that neutral lockout? That screw with that lock washer, i tried everything and could get it tightened and secured, any tips?
This happened to my 08, i was downshifting from 3rd to 2nd and it locked me out of every gear, but my clutch wasn’t stuck down, but it was as easy to push as a gas pedal. Luckily i was able to shut it off and get it in gear and just rev match my way home

Make sure to also get replacement clutch pedal stoppers. Your clutch pedal will travel too far inward if one is missing or damaged. Probably resulting in slow wear over time like what happened here from too far of travel.
Just happened to me in my 2017 sti I had it towed on a flat and now I need a new master cylinder put in sucks
yooo brotha! just happened to me today. did you replace the slave cylinder too? or just master
service manual recommends doing both at same time; however, replacing just the broken part should be fine.

hey man, sorry for this late response took a break from making videos so i apologize. i’m sure you’ve gotten the right solution by now but for anyone having the same problems, this is a mod that requires a pro tune. without the proper tune you will always have those lights

Where could I get a tune for the tgv and egr delete
I went to TPG tuning in Pennsylvania but look around for local shops that focus on imports or subaru’s in general. this is a pretty typical mod so most shops that work on subaru’s will know that you’re looking for

What oil were you using and what is the highest oil temp you saw during a 20 minute session? Do you have an oil cooler?
Mine hits about 240 on track daze after a 30 minute sesh on most tracks( I only do it in the fall and spring) I run 5 qt of motul 5-30 efe since the FA is DIT. Then I add almost 1qt motul 8100 x-cess 5-40 to get a higher sheer force since I’m assuming under such high heat there’s some break down and a lil extra oil just gives me hope I won’t starve the engine of oil around turns. I also run dot 4 race fluid and a lil more water in my coolant. Like A 55/45 blend rather than 50/50
