Koi Progression / Moving Koi Fall of 2022
I go through some of my Koi and we look at their growth and color changes. For some of the older fish, we can see a two-year comparison, and for the younger fish up to a year comparison.
I always love seeing comparison videos of Koi and I hope that you enjoy this one.

Pond Clean-up and Water Hyacinth
มุมมอง 3.7Kปีที่แล้ว
I will go over the benefits of having Water Hyacinth in your pond. Though the plant is banned in some countries it is great to use in your pond in a climate like Oregon. If you can't have this plant let us know where you are in the comments. If you use this plant also, leave a comment. Ahh he's had a nice rest too away from others. Keep your pond water not too heavily filtered with force its hard work but please keep it clean water. These are filthy big bouncy goldfish and love attention too. You love him. Now he knows you do love him. ❤❤❤It hurts our backs, but worthwhile. Love you sweets and Dave your spotted friend. Just stick a comfy chair by them and enjoy them coming up to play ping pong balls. Then no sharp objects. They are water puppies laddie. They need to be entertained by a guitar playing and singin a long. Honest. Scoucer fish loving lady from the pool liver pool. 😮❤❤❤ gone fishin xxx

    My kid brother went playing with his friends down a river this Summer. And, he returned home with two small fishes in a jar. Now, he already has fishes-friend and I'm worried about what this tilapia eats because we've never had a tilapia before. 😣

    Thanks for the video! I have 10 cats!! I am tired of cleaning out the kitty litter boxes, so I have made my cats a bathroom with their own toilet that has a wide seat rim just for them with auto flush. Now I will start teaching them how to use it. Your video gave me some great ideas and more motivation!

    So great and full overall?And I appreciate you sharing, but reducing the size of your pipe does not decrease pressure.It increases pressure.So I think either part of your explanations missing or I'm missing something sorry.This is voice to text while driving.If it didn't come out right , just pump it and I'll correct it later

    1:55 ❤ it’s such a great feeling getting something dirty, and turning it into some thing immaculate only clean and useful. We just dug a 1500 gallon. Pond bought a cheap liner off of Amazon, leaked on the first day. Waiting on the arrival for another one. Have no idea what we’re doing. But I know it needs a filter. I love your video. Great job.

    • @samiam830

      OK, I built this filter. It’s exactly the same way then I put 50 pounds of sand on the top layer. The pump is inside of a 5 gallon bucket with lava rock and poly fill and my water is extremely clean. My water was super green, freshly built pond, so I drained all the water out filled it back up built this filter system and it has stayed clean for weeks !!!! And tried and true, I’ve recommend this video

    Do you have issues with your 2nd filter not moving water in the the pond, while the 1st filter is pushing water into it? Currently my 2nd filter does not drain into the pond fast enough.

    I inherited a 1000G pond that was never kept up with for the 15 years since was installed. The muck is several feet deep, I have been using microbe lift in various products for years trying to dissolve the muck there with no luck as I have no time to drain the pond and clean by hand. I just started the barley extract, so hope it helps clear the water. My question is, should I throw in like couple inches of gravel ontop of the much to create protective layer to stop as much kicking up into the water or this a useless idea?

    If you used pillow fill on top, would that collect more of the sludge and allow you to pull it out for quick hose out when cleaning? Just starting, I know there is a name for the white stuffing in pillows...but...I can't think of it now.

    Rule of thumb two pipes to 2 exit pipes of the same diameter as the forced intake pipe should be used. Examp!e: 2 inch pipe pushing water in with pressure and 2 2 inch pipes excitinging water out by natural flow. This will prevent overflow.

      @Honda3737gs 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I just watched this video and really enjoyed it. I can appreciate it when you can move such large, heavy items by yourself. I was especially impressed with you being able to move the 10 foot boulder, that is exactly what I'm looking to do. Thanks for posting and passing along this information.👍

      Excellent video! The apparently "small" boulders that I wanted to move turned out to be grossly "overweight" and the strap method that you propose is a fine example of using one's brain instead of one's muscles. Thanks. 2024/05/31. Ontario, Canada.
