Hi Chris, thanks for the video. I came across your channel because we are looking to put processes in place that will facilitate growth at our church here in Houston. I wonder if you have a video that expends on the chart you showed of the different rings? What areas of church service would you say belong within the different rings. I would love to see a video on your thoughts. Thanks and God bless.
Always spot on for what I am going through as a pastor leading a growing church. This content is inspiring and challenging at the same time. Thank you P. Chris and the Church Boom network!
Great teaching
Awesome, thanks
Good stuff! You’re an encourager and a great golfer 😂Thank you
Arizona especially Mesa is a really hard Community to get through to due to the Mormon influences here.
Pastor Jeremy is one of the GOATS! 🐐
I have a serious question. Before I ask, I want to say that I have recently submitted myself to Jesus as I have had a major life change happen. I am new to my church. I have made friends with more woman then I have with men. I never intended it to be that way, its just happening that way. With that being said, I have found out I am being judged by church members. It breaks my heart and trust because I am going thru so much right now, dealing with a divorce and to be looked at like I'm going to church for other reasons. I have never, ever, shown any ill intention towards anyone. How do you deal with that? Do I stop and find another church? Do I ignore it and continue going and worship? Because that is all I want to do. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
So good, thanks Chris!
21:07 💯 Chris I also thank you for your knowledge! As a missionary/pastor’s wife, in a two year old church plant in Mexico 🇲🇽, I’m learning so much from you! May God continue to bless you and keep up the good work of teaching us all over the world ❤
Episode 123 Jeff Seaman. There is mention of discipleship book Chris had used called Rooted. Who is written by and where is it available? I was able to find the one from Outreach “Following Jesus” on Outreach site. Thanks for the help with “Rooted” book.
Sell the building, rent a smaller faciltity and invest in people (staff).
As a pastor of a smaller congregation and a staff of one (me), I'd love to hear a podcast in the difference between expectations of paid staff and how you handle a team that is all volunteer.
Wow😮!
Driven leaders don’t stop to celebrate😮
Great content and encouragement
My biggest take away is Love where you are and keep it simple.
Thank you very much. That was very helpful, Pastor Chris.
excellent! fast, fluid and flexible
This is so good Pastor Chirs. The "paying volunteers with fruit" was so good.
Great stuff! Thank you! My biggest takeaway: Volunteers get paid with fruit. (Success stories that articulate the results and value of their labor). Volunteers are motivated by the fruit. No one likes to work for free. They need to get paid too. Be intentional and consistent in paying your volunteers.
Awesome podcast!
Nice!
Your video is very beautiful. I like it a lot. I have been trying to talk to you for a long time. I am waiting for your response. Please give me a chance to talk to you.📞
Great Stuff Pastor Chris thanks!!

Such great info, I’m so encouraged! Pastor Alex is an amazing Pastor and leader. Thank you for sharing this.
👍
I am so proud of my son Pastor Alex Williams and so grateful to God for His grace. I have witnessed the many hours Alex has given to grow the Dream Center and work his other job. His heart is so sincere in serving Jesus and this interview I believe was right on in explaining what he needs to grasp to help execute the next step in the growth of the Dream Center Of Sacramento. Thank you Chris Sonksen!
We loved having him on the podcast!
Awesome Episode!!
So glad you found it helpful!
Chris Sonksen taught me years ago. To grow your church you have to focus on the culture. How to create the culture you want is start by 1. The stories you tell. 2. the hero's you make. 3. the things you celebrate. This has changed our church over and over again. After pandemic running 275 adults and children Feb. 2020. This past Sunday 08/14/23 825 adults and children. Thank you Church Boom and Chris Sonksen.
Wow! Thanks so much for sharing what God is doing! Could you email us at marketing@churchboom.org we would love to hear more!
Sermon series based on books of the Bible. Plan the special days and sermons. Plan guest speakers and missionaries. Arrange coverage for vacation. All a year in advance. This year started with a month of Spiritual Disciplines in January, then Genesis. Covered creation to Babel, then took a break with the book of James, Went to Abraham, next is Galatians, Issac and Jacob, Missions and end up with Joseph and Christmas. You need to be flexible. I create some unmovable points but everything else has a degree of flow.
Read the King James Bible To them
Or you could mind your own business and look in the mirror.
Evangelizing! Jeremiah let the Spirit guide you!
You're running a business not a church
Has it come to that that we actually pray about our decisions
Did any of these meetings involve prayer
So what you're saying is you will do what's popular not what's right
Love you pastor mike ❤️🙏🏽
Translation - A good cult leader surrounds themselves with yes-men & women. Now pass those plates! "God" still needs his 10% cut to build the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth or whatever.
Daily refer to the Bible, weekly refer to the Bible monthly refer to the Bible yearly refer to the Bible… these ridiculous questions are white churches are failing. Preach the word of God. Seek the Lord’s counsel, and do what he says. Stop relying on your own thoughts and knowledge. You’ll feel every time.
wtf did you clip this for? it doesnt explain or even say anything. its just a question that doesnt get answered...
Church sounds like they hired Goldman and Sachs🤣🤣🤣
