Yup , it was a cavalier coupe in the uk . absolutely identical except the badge, if you bought the parts at a vauxhaul dealer they were cheaper than the opel dealer
looks a little to high, might need to lower it a little, but honestly should have kept it stock good cars like that are rare to come by, shabby bodys are ok to mod but originals in good conditions have less work to do on them and have such a high value as the years go by.

back in the early 90's I used the same engine (vauxhall calibra) in a 1.8s/gt body. however I used 48mm webers. also 63mm sebring exhaust. together with a 5-speed and 1:3,89 rearaxle it tipped 7000RPM witch was 245+ kp/h (150+ m/h) . lots of fun............. BTW, still own it?
you can see my arm and foot in this video.lol. i filmed on my phone and when declan hit it, you coulnd see the car that was 6inch away for smoke ,so i am sure they couldnt see at all. fair play !!!!

A 3.0 24v out of a Carlton or senator would have been closer to a 400 but who cares the red top is a great engine
